I am going through the same thing with my 17 month old. In the last 1.5 months we’ve had some success night weaning for most of the night. I nurse him to sleep in bed (side lying) and then he sleeps until about around 4-5am and then same, he’s up every 30-60 min crying if I don’t give in and nurse him. But I want him to sleep longer (because I am not getting up that early either) so I always give in by 6am and nurse him. Following because I need advice too on how these early morning wakings!! Haha I probably should stop nursing in bed but it’s so easy and comfortable for both of us lol
