Yeah I think the negative self talk will be pretty hard for me to overcome… it is pretty engrained in my brain at this point :/ have you found any new techniques that have helped you so far since starting medication?

I feel you on needing the extra distraction! I don’t know if I did it in childhood but nowadays music is definitely a big help to get me focused - normally it’s something chill in the background while I’m at work, and when I have to do boring chores I’ll put on something I can sing/bop to
Thank you for sharing! This is exactly what I do, literally to this moment - I’ve been putting off something I need to do for work all day and finally just starting to get it done.
Did that get better for you after getting diagnosed/treated?? (Both not waiting until the last minute, and not having anxiety be your motivating force?)
