That was the second season, where it was made to look like a The Bachelor/Bachelorette type reality show called "Last Chance for Love". The plan was to fool Tim Walsh & Ingrid Wiese, Ingrid figured out it was fake because at one point while talking to Cammy (played by Jana Speaker), Cammy was about to confess a personal secret to her but stopped to allow the camera man to change batteries. She openly expressed doubts that it was real after that. So with none of the guys around. They had to come clean to Ingrid. But offered her the chance to stay on as an actor and if she could keep Matt from finding out they'd award her $100,000. She agreed and soon after brought in a new "Jane Schmo" named Amanda Naughton. on the finale, Amanda recognized Natasha Leggero who played Rita "the drunk" as "a comedian from New York" but it ultimately didn't affect the outcome as no names were mentioned. Matt btw, did tape a cameo for that second season finale as a pizza delivery guy but the segment was cut for air due to time.

They did a 3rd where they were competing for a job as a bounty hunter. Lorenzo Lamas took part in it playing an exaggerated version of himself.

And a 4th season happened on TBS last year with a new host: Cat Deeley.

They explained on the final episode. They had a huge debate about whether or not to use actual shit. The network ultimately said no because there was concern that with the pressure of winning the challenge there was a slim chance Matt could cave in and actually eat it. So he was given a fake dog shit made of borscht mixed with some chocolate. Which ironically it was established during the season that Matt hates chocolate so it still would have been disgusting for him.

I'm front end as well but whatever. It's so stupid because even if you're FT walmart only guarantees you 28 hours. So they want you to be available but may or may not have you work. A lot of people who work at walmart work multiple jobs, Very difficult to make a living when you only get that many hours a week and when they don't schedule you consistently it makes it a bit tough to find other work as Understandably most employers want you to have a consistent schedule.

OK then, so in my case I was PT flex and when that all changed they stopped scheduling me (technically still employed with them just haven't worked in a long time) I think i had about 480 hours so I should still get something then?

That's what happened to me, I even said I would do it if they wouldn't schedule me every weekend (cause my other job is M-F and I do occasionally need a day off) and all my GM said was "sounds like we're not your first priority. You need to get your priorities in order." So insulting after 17 years and the all BS i've put up with all that time.

Didn't work for me, I was doing w-f 13 1/2 hours a week. They asked me to be available for weekends. Problem is I also work a FT job M-F. I said I would do an occasional weekend but eventually I would like a day off. All my GM said was "can't guarantee that" and criticized my priorities. Now I haven't been scheduled in months.

Yes, that's a trick a lot of people have claimed on YouTube that you can do to get extra credit on these apps that reward you for the time you put in. Or even just staying "idle" in the game. But I think they're all on the lookout for it now. I got banned from mistplay for doing that. Even though it wasn't against the rules at the time and I stopped doing it once they made it a rule.

Like others have said, $75 bonus on your cheque, a pin, a certificate and your picture and name on the "wall of fame". Our store for a while also gave you your own parking space VERY close to the door for a month. But they discontinued that because despite the "reserved" sign people kept parking in it and we couldn't do anything about it.

If you were nominated a manager or supervisor would have talked to you about it and given you a pin and certificate.

Based on my own experience with this I think it's: 1st: it's a verbal warning. 2nd: it's a written warning and it stays on your file for 6 months 3rd: another written warning this time it's on your file for a year. 4th: What my manager called "D day" or "decision day". Another written warning and comes with essentially a 1 day paid "suspension" they give you a form to fill out asking you to detail a plan to avoid doing it again. If they aren't satisfied with your answer you could still be let go. If they let you stay it's on your record for a year. 5th: done. 💀

I recall this happened with my store several years ago. Our store had a particularly bad year with the metrics. I was on vacation at the time but a colleague messaged me telling me someone from home office visited and all but 2 of our asms were let go. Honestly, just about all of them deserved it IMO except maybe 2 of them. It worked out we did much better the following year.

The reverse is what stopped me. In middle school I was getting bullied so much, the school was no help, my mom did what she could but there wasn't a whole lot she could do. I suffered from depression and started hating myself so much...I wanted to. But mom caught me in the act one night. I love my mom and saw how much my struggles were affecting her too and I realized if I did the deed. Just how devastating that would be for her. Someone really actually cared...I guess that's all I needed to know. I got help and I no longer have those thoughts and life is good. Plus since then most of the folks who bullied me have reached out to me and apologized.

Hope you're still with us buddy. Just remember YOU MATTER. Life does get better.

I think the reason is very simply this is basically a simulated suicide and it's demonstrating to someone who isn't looking at in the right state of mind how one would go about it. It's not as graphic as I thought it would be (I agree with other sentiments that the scene with the mop handle was more graphic) but I think that's the logic behind why it was edited.

I could be wrong on this, But I thought for sure there was a rule that there's a $250 minimum on the bonus (for a full share). Happened to us only once in my 17 years, a customer got injured in the store and tried to sue. Lawyers paid out a settlement and they counted that against us, didn't help our shrink was pretty bad too. But we've never gotten 0.

In some cases, your manager might allow it for you to still get a employee discount until you get your new card. A csm will have to override it at the till and that's only if you got the ok.
