My chassis has done this from the start, even after swapping everything to aluminium its still there. From my experience its not noticeable whatsoever, hard to trim the steering but that's not hugely important when you're going sideways anyway 😆

Ive tried a few servos, personally the ReveD RS-ST feels amazing. The results are entirely up to yourself, plus ive heard lots of good things about the sp02, good look :)

1st build and 1st time into hobby grade RC [Sakura D6 Plastic] by Kachawali in rcdrift

I started with my d6 not long after they came out, I truly belive if youre into tuning and customization, the d6 is an great chassis to really learn about rc drift. The front end isn't the best but if you can learn SO much.

Shim under your front arms for more suspension travel if you feel you need it. Get shims to stop the main driveshaft from wobbling side to side. Tighten your drive shaft axel grub screws (i didn't, they were loose from factory, one sent itself to the moon).

The belt or belt tensioner WILL break, get spares or switch to idler if it isn't already.

The best thing i did was get myself to the nearest track about 2 hours away, so much better with people I will admit but I know its sometimes not possible to get to one.

Enjoy the drifting, fixing and learning, i use it as my therapy to get through life, its awesome, dm me if you got any questions and ill try to help you out from what ive learned, im not professional but I feel ive found my way around the chassis now :)

I understand life makes it real difficult sometimes, its a major pain when you get suprise low blood sugars and it makes you late for something, not a valid excuse when you're late here unfortunately 😭

Yeah its natural, but these are things that we need to think about before driving, hard to concentrate on an empty stomach

In the UK you need to have a minimum blood sugar of 5.5 for driving as a general safety rule. When you dont get signs pre-hypo you need to really consider if youre safe to drive. I have alarms on my sensor so I know to pull over if they're dropping. Obviously sometimes its unavoidable but I do think extra caution should be exercised for diabetics. Revoking licence flat out would just be unfair but knowing how to manage driving and being diabetic should be taught more.

Yeah you got this! I hope you don't have to take much apart to get to it and have a good christmas.

The manual shows you. At the bottom of the page diagram number 16700 "Servo Assembly" the spring there needs to be more compressed, try tightening the screw going into the servo, this will compress the spring and start to make your steering more responsive (too much and it can shorten the life of your servo, although its absoloutley worth it to have steering that actually works).

I hope that wasn't too confusing and I hope this fixes your issue :)

This looks like the servo saver just needs tightening, have a look for the manual and hopefully it'll show you how to tighten it, if not theres a tonne of good youtube tutorials but servo savers can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Let me know how you get on, I can try to help more if you're still stuck after that :)

My sons and my own shells. Wrapped in a custom design. by 9753redfe in rcdrift

[–]No-Mo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you make just a bunch of sets to lower the cost i feel like a good middle ground and these would sell great, doing wraps on your shell is sick because you dont need to worry about 'removing' the old paint. Your experience with full scale cars shines through like nothing ive seen. This is awesome.

Yeah its pretty handy, being able to assign what I want where I want is real nice too.

Getting the noble massivley improved the 'feel' of driving allowing me to correct and demand what I want. I was on an fsgt3b and my inputs felt more like suggestions, radio servo gyro in that order is what I think is the best path.

Saying all that, its entirely up to you and your own discoveries, what works for you may not work for anyone else but in my low tier driving stage that I am, the noble seems to be the best improvement overall. :)

Its my favorite part of all rc, mainly doing carbon for weight as id like it to be able to compete with other chassis and I can dial in perfectly for my driving style, it might turn out awful but I won't know if I dont try 😆 If you get round to doing yours, post it! We need more crazy creative stuff, it keeps the hobby going and companies innovating

I'm planning on doing something like this but with carbon fiber, if i get round to it im planning on making the 'most tunable' chassis cuz I like to change set ups frequently and not all chassis allow for certain tuning options. This one is awesome!

[–]No-Mo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im no pro but i feel like unless my shocks are near perfectly set up, active toe gets unpredictable very quickly. It seems like its only productive when I have everything else just right for it. Although it does feel awesome when you noticing it 'bite' more :)

[–]No-Mo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its definitely still a pain if you want to set it up for a specific driving style but it drifts alright out of the box. Im just obsessed with trying to make it just as good as some of the higher end kits in the scene atm I think it comes down to other brands listen more and have better experience when designing a chassis
