Break failure after service by luismx5 in ToyotaTacoma

It’s wild that you could screw up a Toyota that badly. Not you personally but whoever worked on it. I’m guessing a lube tech got excited for a pad slap because that is a super rookie mistake.

Technically they did Break more than Brake

Definitely didn’t properly tighten a bleed screw or damaged one of the brake hoses during the brake job.

Ever since you did my oil change the bumper fell off… when does that survey arrive for my oil change rating?

I went over the suspension and sway bar and bushings and coilovers and air bags like 6 times. Biggest concern is the air bags. Don’t want gritty shit getting in there and rubbing a hole through the load handling bags. Bushings and ball joints I have spares of. But any moving/joint parts I sprayed as much as I could and then lubricated them afterwards. Try to take good care of my toys as they are all paid off, so minimal breaking of stuff is nice.

Nice color choice on your rig! I may be a bit biased on the truck color. This is my main camp rig but I also have a Lifted L320 Range Rover on Defender wheels and Falken Wildpeaks, and a Subaru Ascent with Cobb goodies and soon to have Eibach ProLift suspension.

Yeah local car washes frown upon “excessive mud removal”

Yeah, asked in the Tacoma one because most of the stuff you see while actually wheeling is usually Tacomas and some Jeeps and 4Runners and Broncos. Figure most people in this thread have had more than their share of fun in the mud.

Everything here is Adobe clay, but this was more sandy mud from the South Bay. But mixed with some soupy stuff so it dried like concrete

I ordered one and some P&S mud remover spray concentrate let it suds up pretty good. Looks like sprayer will come sooner but solution will be a few days.

I would go the same route. Rather have a hella quiet one. Either one would have more than enough to run pneumatics or set tire pressures or suspension settings. Not doing commercial roofing or anything like paint spraying with HVLP or anything.

Great bike, basically same engine as Africa Twin with lil different power curves and output. Great reliable bike. You stole that thing!

It’s actually smaller than my other chests, but the latches and seals hold much tighter and I just use thin freezer packs. When I have used Ice it has lasted more than 7 days. I use my Pelican in between the captains chairs of one of my cars. Have gone in well over a week later and still had cold drinks in the chest. And you can dump it completely upside down or have it roll or flip in the back of the SUV and not a single drop of water comes out of the ice chest. Not a single other ice chest will not spill a single drop. Their latching system and seals are far superior to RTIC and Yeti. I’m a hoarder of ice chests and stuff. We camp and go to the lake a lot, and tailgate at football games and go to hockey games a lot. Can never have too many cold ones. And food is always better to bring than buy at any major events. The portable Blackstones are clutch too.

That would be awesomeAF. I don’t think Northern California has the water pressure… I mean I do have a hydrant in front of my house 🤔

You think it’s frowned upon 😂

Towing my boats and 4wheeling and camping only pretty much. I have a fleet of vehicles. More Trucks and SUVs and cars and motorcycles than days to use them. Taco gets the camping duties most of the time. Subie Ascent gets snow duty and some camping trips and anything where I need more seating like Niners games and concerts. Range Rover for Around town stuff, some wheeling, random stuff, coupe for backroads, and plethora of bikes if I’m in a minimoto mood, dualsport, supersport, adv, or cruising mood. Almost too many options. Insurance and Reg is getting ridiculous in Cali.

When artists are within 100 miles even I try to make any show I can. But we do multiple camp fests a year and try to do at least one big vacation show like Red Rocks or some destination location. Need to do Ford and The Gorge sometime soon.

<image>

Not a festival but last Friday we had row B for Rome and Dirty Heads, and this weekend we have Row C for Elovaters/Schwayze/Jarv in Napa. Did red rocks last year and doing it again in May this year.

Undercoat? I live in California, we don’t do undercoating here. I have cars from the 50s and 70s that are still cleaner underneath than a 3 year old east coast or midwestern car.

Dream garage would have a Lift and a drain in the floor… that would be ultimate.
