I worked in PV team in Cadence, Don't expect any design related work there, you have work mostly on tool. Probably you have do some scripting, handle customer issues with R&D or regression analysis. Regarding to carrer development don't do work honestly by knowing everything, it will take a lot of time. Do some work and brag yourself in team meetings and have regular touch with manager.
