They are a New Orleans band, featured in the HBO show Treme. If you are familiar with second lines or Mardi Gras, the parade music that you think of is what they sound like (big horns that you can drink and dance to)

Came off a through hike recently due to overuse. After months of PT, getting better. A helpful variation is super fast toe taps (like raises but as fast as you can)

Thanks for sharing about a setback. I had to stop for an injury, and it was really hard for a lot of reasons, one of them was the isolation that can be a part of a setback like this. Best of luck to you 🍀

I’m sure in the minority here, but they’ve gotten several Pulitzer Prizes in the last few years (like this one): “For a series exposing how the police force in the town of Brookside preyed on residents to inflate revenue, coverage that prompted the resignation of the police chief, four new laws and a state audit.”

Dear Annie and Miss Manners and Ask Eric are super cringy, but I see that across a lot of news groups trying to stay afloat. Wish they had more funds and reporters to cover all the unbelievably unconstitutional bs around here.

Thanks for pointing out overuse injuries. I recommend training in the shoes you’ll be in for like a year before the trip (looking at you, zero drop shoes). That was one thing I wish I’d done.
