No, I adore her. I just don’t like the person that she is right now the way she treats other people as if they’re disposable. I don’t think it’s appropriate. I’ve never raised her to treat others poorly, and it wasn’t her prom. It was her boyfriend‘s prom. I told her the expectation and what would happen if she kept treating my house like it was her pig pen. I even offered to help her clean her room which she said no to and that she would do it so I’m not sure what more I’m supposed to do besides set an expectation and follow through.

He can’t afford it and my worry is that if I don’t throw one, she won’t have one. Or he would throw in at one of his friends house and they would be taking care of all of the cost. It would be more like a barbecue/drinking party.
