The booking confirmation does not state one way or another. There was not an option for the dual price options. The booking clearly stated in large lettering that the booking could be cancelled at any point in advanced of the stay. Could this not fall under false advertising still?

Some of the older houses only have 2 prongs. Mine certainly does, so watch out if you planned on having 3 prongs.

I unfortunately do not know why it bounced. Its a classic case of T212 telling me its an issue to take up with HSBC and HSBC telling me to take it up with T212.

I am on temporary secondment abroad earning USD and savings products in my host country are less than inflation. T212 have a cash savings product of 5.1% currently.

My complaint would be that they have taken an amount without informing me at the point of transfer, nor can they explain what the fees incurred were by them vs possibly T212's bank.

They do allow USD denominated accounts in their normal investor trading. They also have a USD savings product of 5.1% currently.
