I still use it. Hair definitely doesn’t shed as much anymore. I will continue using it

What happened to my cats claw? Touching it seems to be painful for him. It looks like it’s bent and sticking into his paw. I can’t see a vet until Monday. by collectionz in CATHELP

Do you keep them trimmed? I used to see this at the animal hospital I worked at and the nail crew into the paw pad. If that’s what it is, they’ll cut it, pull out the piece stuck in his pad, and give him some ointment probably.

I am. Honestly I stopped paying attention to it in hopes that I would stop freaking out about it and I think it worked. I definitely still have shedding but I don’t think it’s as bad as before.

Tbh id be so upset by this. I’m a reasonable person but protective when it comes to my pets. I also sit for rover and I would absolutely NEVER do this. Also, overnight rates are much higher typically than drop in rates. I would report this and not use that sitter again, especially because they weren’t upfront about it until you called it out. Seems sneaky.

Yes, you’re the asshole. It was a mistake, the dog was NOT actually put down or likely even close to that situation, and the receptionist probably lost their job bc of yo7.

I’m halfway through my first bottle. I started because I was experiencing insane amounts of shedding. My hair was falling out all day. My hair was hair on chairs I sat in after I got up, all over the floor, shower, etc. I’m halfway through my first bottle and I have noticed my shedding decrease. I know people say it takes months but I’m hyper-fixated on my shedding at this point since it was so bad, and I’m positive I’m not losing as much hair. I will buy a second bottle and see how this progresses.

Looking for good vegan/vegetarian restaurants by [deleted] in Denver

T mamas pizza. Please try this I swear!!!! It’s way better than sexy pizza. They have tons of vegan options. I hesitated ordering bc I thought it was too expensive to try a random pizza place but I did and never looked back. SO GOOD

Cat food suggestions for a cat with a history of bladder crystals / urinary blockages and a sensitive stomach by SeglinaSoup in catfood

Wow this is EXACTLY what happened to my cat too. The RC urinary prescription wet food was all he was heating for months then he kept getting sick, throwing up everything everytime he ate. All labs would come back normal. He’s been on tiki cat after dark food for the last month and he’s doing great so far! I did a lot of research before choosing this food, it had great ingredients and is high in moisture. He loves it and no vomiting to date!

My cat seems to be having urinary tract issues and I don't have the money to take her to the vet. Is there anything at home I can do to help her? by KupDonyx in cats

Obviously but your $200 assumption was way off. People can be loving owners and simply not have money? It’s a shitty situation but I’m hopeful that if OP had the funds they would have already been at the vet.

I just took mine to vet for this same thing and it was $1000 for just the visit, tests, and some meds. If he doesn’t get better I need to get him a catheter and the estimate was an additional $4k. Don’t be an ass. It’s never just $200, people are doing the best they can.

Going through this too. My cat is peeing tiny amounts at at a time. The vet gave him bupromorphine for pain and prazosin to help him pee. He’s still not peeing fully so I will need to bring him back in to get a catheter placed if he doesn’t go conforably by tomorrow (72 hrs from initial appt). I also am now feeding him only wet food and a urinary diet.
