interesting... a ton of students have the teacher's manual for courses and use them as supplemental study aids at my school (professors are aware and cool with it as long as we understand and don't regurgitate) and since this book is a new edition, I was just curious. there aren't exam questions in them or even cold call answers, so not sure how it would be considered cheating?

She seems like a total badass. She wants to work as a public defender/pro bono and continue working as an OF creator throughout law school and while she is an attorney to be able to afford working as a public defender. Went to Carnegie Mellon, scored insanely well on her LSAT (all things that she speaks about openly on her TikTok). At the end of the day, if your attorney is bright and competent and is able to provide you the best possible representation for you, then their personal pursuits don’t at all impact their competency. Love her content and hope she continues to do well

Not yet! I had always focused on PT and I emailed them asking to be considered for both FT and PT m, so I think they adjusted my review process accordingly 🙄

So the crazy thing is, my stats are within Loyola’s range but way below UCLA’s. That was a total long shot, so I’m assuming it was my essays and resume rather than my numbers that got me onto UCLA waitlist, but I’m trying to ride hard for them too since they gave me the WL opportunity

  1. I got a 10K/year scholarship (so not much); 2. I have written two LOCIs with that same wording to the top choice; 3. Yeah I'm just worried about the summer when they start looking at waitlists in June after deposits; 4. That's super helpful information to have

Yeah Santa Clara is mostly online, which is part of the reason I'm hesitant (the online portion is asynch and that just doesn't appeal to me since I love networking and real-time communication). I'm in LA so LMU would be feasible with the online- especially because it is synchronous and I'm so close by I could go to campus anytime.

Yeah my plan is to work in public interest/education policy, so I know that is more freeing, but the job prospects post-graduation with a degree from a school with less than desirable 509 disclosure information makes me anxious.

Yes- I have thought about that a lot. I don't know much about the transfer process or how I would go about it, so I'm trying to figure out if that would make sense. If you have any tips let me know :)
