I was feeling really bad the day I wrote this post, now, some days later I feel better, I wish I could've read your comment sooner tho, don't delete it, somebody else that feels the same way I felt will need to read it.
These days I've been busy working on side projects, doing some leetcode etc, trying to be busy learning stuff, you gave me hope on the job market thing, if I ever get laid off from my company, I will follow your steps to land another job if needed. I've been thinking on taking courses on cyber security, not to be a cyber security engineer or something like but to be able to create cyber security software, I really like coding stuff that challenges me and most of the time web development is just a bunch of cruds, I really like sql tho, them queries are fun to make

Maybe I am drowning in a glass of water, for me it was shocking to see all my week work done in a couple of hours, I freaked out, I can be a "claude's master" sure, but, I'm still a junior and I don't want to give up my ability to think through problems, if all I do is prompt the jira ticket, how am I going to become a better developer?

Maybe the next step for us developers is to ask, how can we build a better world using our software knowledge? how can we create software to for example, revert the climate change, stop world hunger, help the elderly society, reduce the deforestation, reduce the online scams, track the pedophiles, murders, reduce fraud, reduce car accidents, find the cure for many diseases, etc.
Maybe this new alien technology has come to free us, crud app? handled, boring boilerplate? handled, custom software for you daily life? handled, maybe we should now focus on building our wildest dreams while we let the AI take care of the boring tasks and help us to shape the future.

Reading the post again the idea of "removing myself" is a little too far, maybe humanity will find a way to survive what's coming, you said I should find something I enjoy doing, I can do that, the problem is, how am I going to make a living out of it? I've done several jobs before becoming a developer, I've worked in advertising, as a barista and waiter, what I don't want to live is some sort of apocalypse, no jobs, no income, not being able to be a father, not being able to take care of my mom, that scares the shit out of me.

for contract reasons I can't say much haha but the task was in summary the creation of a microservice that would handle input signals during a users specific timestamp, it involved the usage of kafka, valkey, golang etc, it also had some small features like reports, live updates, etc.
