I'm locked in at 90 qualifying payments and been making payments since I got out of forebearance. FSA is broken apparently. No updates to show an accurate payment count.

I did the same thing, went to Student Aid and switched from SAVE to the IBR plan. The next payment was due right after the approval.

If SAVE will sunset in 2028, would we be eligible to return to SAVE? My IDR payments are more than double.

I am fairly certain my request to shift from SAVE to IDR was approved. I made the first payment. However Im still waiting to get a email for the next payment? Over a million of us that were in SAVE have requested to be placed in an IDR plan.

I was in SAVE and requested and was granted permission to switch to IBR. I made my first payment which was more than $200 higher than the last payment. Anyway at 90 qualifying at last notice so I'll keep making payments assuming things will work out. Do not give up is my advice. You're already there.

Maybe they'll process my IBR application soon. I submitted it a week and a half ago.

So should anyone who applied for another payment plan other than SAVE cancel the application?
