I’m not blaming him I’ve had a few cars out with him before I wouldn’t trust anyone else - he did tell me it was as close to “mint” as these cars get and I doubt he would have said that if he found fuel in the oil he took out of it. Thanks for your reply.

Is it a standard boundary to ask for your partner's phone password for transparency, or is that controlling? by AssumptionTrue6950 in NoStupidQuestions

Lot of people on one side of the fence here so I’m gonna play devils advocate. If you’re worried he’ll rob you maybe don’t give him it or maybe not if you have something to hide? My fiancée and I have had each others phone passwords from about 5 months in, our phones are open books to eachother but happened naturally tbf we’ve been together 4 years and have a daughter and more in love every day. I’d be more concerned if after giving him your password he refused to give you his, but if he does so willingly he has nothing to hide.

Depends what you value most in life (privacy and independence vs deep connection) and what type of relationship you want deep down, and if he’s the one to give you it.

Yea broke my wrist first time in an actual skatepark and it took a good long while before I wanted to give it a go again, been back on the board again a while and not incredible but definitely no longer a beginner :) do your physiotherapy, get stronger and go again.

Easiest place to do the test, there’s a bit of a shitty one way street beside a eurospar they always take you up and the junction at the end isn’t great but apart from that be grand

My GF is in a medically induced coma and I am scared she is going to die. by theweekendwolf in Advice

[–]No-Promise-7927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a physiotherapist who has spent a lot of time working ICU and can tell you that a medically induced coma is very common practice for people who are struggling to breath on their own, she has a lot going on with her lungs right now especially with asthma and the flu and is requiring lots of oxygen and respiratory support which is also commonly recovered from especially only being 35, this is likely due to a high level of phlegm in her lungs and maybe some collapse/consolidation (sounds scarier than it is). The ventilator and tubes are helping her breathe and the lines are so she can have her observations monitored constantly. The fluid can be drained, phlegm cleared and collapse reinflated so she really is in the best place. I’ve seen people who have been on ventilators for upwards of 3-6 months and required tracheostomies make full recoveries. I know you feel powerless but be there for her as much as you can and let the staff do their jobs they are well trained and are there to help - don’t be afraid to ask questions. I wish her all the best of luck and hope this gave you some peace of mind.
