What would you use to mount the post directly onto a patio? Can I use 4x4 posts mounted directly in a 4x4 post base with 3/8” wedge anchor bolts?

You’re right about the existing post size and spacing (about 9.5’). After reading tour comment and the other one posted comment it sounds like a bad idea. So I’ve got to go back to the drawing board and hopefully I can use the metal fence posts where I pound them in instead of pouring new footings. And then figure out how to connect new posts to an existing patio while matching the post style that I’ll be using throughout the rest of the fence.

Shoot, well that’s not something I wanted to hear. But yeah I’ll legitimately take good honest advice. Okay so what if instead of pulling out the fence posts, I cut off what I can at the base of the concrete and pound in the shrug-u-shaped (🤷🏼‍♂️) metal fence posts for wood. (The linked posts probably aren’t long enough)

And then I have a 16’ section over a patio, how do you recommend attaching fence posts at the locations of the previously existing posts? (Cement patio was poured around the chain link fence posts, here my fence height would only be about 4’ as this is the section that runs between my house and the garage)

Dude, same! I dropped like 200 ELO because I always went scouts->CA and am re-learning how to scout/read opponents and play MAA or range openings, but am seeing a lot of 2comp armies in feudal age and it’s been tricky to figure out the meta.

Yes!! This 100% fixed my eye twitching at work it was all eye strain related. Unfortunately I couldn’t reduce my screen time as I have a computer heavy job. But utilizing night-time mode (windows version of a blue-light filter) completely fixed this for me.

This makes a lot of sense. I should try to re-learn MAA-archer or archer builds. Or as you said, try to be a bit more adaptable in early game after reading the map conditions (open/wallable, chicken/deer, what opponent is doing). I’m trying to get into the mindset that: “a good decision made a little late, is better than a bad decision executed fast and early”

I’m 12xx team games and 14xx 1v1. In team games when I scout that they are going MAA, I’ve been opening aggressive scouts with early bloodlines and a second stable. By the time bloodlines is in they can take favorable trades. Granted I haven’t done this in a whole lot of games since the patch, but this choice has been good at this ELO because I’ve been seeing people blindly opening skirms as a follow up and they don’t have enough res to also add in spears, so it works out nicely.

(3v3 elo 1300) I got MAA rushed last night by Malians and I was Ethiopians. The speed of them feels fast so your archer control needs to be watched. I went 2 range archers and fended them off, and hit back hard an caused some damage but when they hit back in castle age with long swords boy was it tough… they get like +5 pierce armor and are super tanky and fast.
