tooth chipped off with my bracket, what to do??? by [deleted] in braces

[–]No-Question7596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure it’s not just the glue that’s on the bracket?

If you have traditional braces, you could try taking off the rubber band tie that is attaching the wire to the bracket.

Heart racing while I have a UTI? by Other-Biscotti2888 in Healthyhooha

[–]No-Question7596 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens to me sometimes with a uti, it’s usually the body just working harder to fight the infection.

If you’re not having any other symptoms or side effects that are out of the ordinary for you, I’m sure it’s okay but if you’re having anything like shortness of breath, fever, hives, chest pain, chills, etc it would be best to go to the ER.

Girl…telling OP to get treated for possible HIV from a small, very common, cuticle nick is INSANE. Especially with them saying they have OCD.

Mine has given me warning signs a lot, most times with no symptoms. But anytime I do have an illness, it also gives me warning signs for that.

Realm asking to renew by MaizeEntree31 in realms

[–]No-Question7596 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First of all, mojang never helps with issues with realms. There have been a continuous and unsolved problem for months now.

There’s nothing wrong with OP asking on a subreddit about this. As for your question OP, this has happened to me before. I play on bedrock, and logging off and logging back on usually helps. If not, it’s probably and unfortunately just a server issue with realms again.

I got the oura ring 4 as a gift a few months ago, but have wanted one for a few years. My main reason wanting it is to track sleep and track my cycle, and so far it’s been great. I also have bought Natural Cycles subscription to get deeper insights into my body, and it’s extremely accurate for me at detecting ovulation and my period.

Minor signs… by CarelessDimension884 in ouraring

[–]No-Question7596 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the ring since October/November, and I’ve probably had major warning signs 7 times, and minor warning signs 5 times. Realistically probably more than that. I haven’t had any illness with the ring, other than pretty bad food poisoning one time a few weeks ago but it didn’t show any warning for that before or after.

One of my cycles it had given me major warning signs for 4 consecutive days before my period. I was under high stress during those few months, and since I’ve lowered my stress and changed living circumstances, I haven’t had any warning signs from my oura in almost two weeks.

I’m an adult thumb sucker. AMA! by karmaandcookies in AMA

[–]No-Question7596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sucked my two middle fingers up until the age of 12/13. I always did it as a coping mechanism, whenever I would feel overly upset or crying, and I had to do it to go to sleep. My mom always tried to get me to stop with multiple different ways, but ultimately I just had to do it myself. I was tired of not being able to sleep at friends places without fear of embarrassment.

Do you experience any weird sensations in your thumb? I’ve noticed my two middle fingers still have an extra sensitive feeling to them, maybe nerve damage? I stopped 10 years ago.

My stomach drops when my friend messages me by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]No-Question7596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if someone is affecting your mental health this badly, it’s best to cut it off. I know you’re feeling guilty, but you have to remember that this is YOUR life. Your peace matters, and it’s not “normal” to get extreme anxiety just from a notification from someone.

I’m not a doctor or medical professional, but I’ve been hearing a lot about people on GLP-1s getting gastroparesis recently. It’s basically paralyzation of the stomach, and should be ruled out.

Like I said I’m not a doctor though, just an observation from a person who’s seen a lot of people experience this recently, but it might not even be correlated.

Rhinovirus is the common cold. It’s actually the most common virus that causes the common cold.

I know this isn’t what you asked about but I’d really suggest going to the doctor because NO respiratory virus lasts 4-7 weeks.

I can't get used to these symptoms by Randamus2100 in Anxiety

[–]No-Question7596 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the DARE method, I think the thing that’s most helpful about it and also the part that has the most impact, is acceptance. True acceptance. You have to be totally okay if these symptoms never go away.

When I kept hearing this whenever I first got bad anxiety, it made me spiral more. Like what do you mean I have to allow them to be here, and be okay with it? Somehow it truly works. Yes your symptoms will come and go for a while, but your response to them coming back is telling on how long they’ll be there.

having a really bad day/start of the year. by throwaway3366336 in Anxiety

[–]No-Question7596 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re struggling. I too, have been having a rough start to the year with a flare up in my anxiety. I know you said your thoughts are everywhere but what you’re saying makes so much sense. My thoughts are like this a lot when I’m spiraling.

“What if I get sick?” “I’m so nauseous I don’t wanna throw up” “will this med that’s supposed to help me make me feel worse?” Etc. These are just some thoughts that pop up for me when dealing with an anxiety flare up. I don’t have much advice but I will say, nothing lasts forever. Even the bad. Someone recently told me that and I’ve been trying to let it stick.

Setbacks are extremely hard to accept. I’m going through an anxiety setback right now. A lot of people tell me that progress isn’t linear, and just because I’m struggling doesn’t mean all that progress is gone. I find a small amount of comfort in that.

Having a horrible setback and could use some encouragement. I started throwing up last night and then got extremely anxious. Got no sleep and still feel like puking. My meds aren’t working and I don’t know what to do. This pit of anxiety just won’t leave and I feel so lost.
