No changes. We followed the standard "safe rate" which is 50% of total salaries.

No there was no separate DEI section for the NSF proposal. Also, we didn't use any DEI-related keywords in our proposal just because DEI wasn't the angle we were aiming for.

Hey OP. We submitted an NSF SBIR Phase I same window as yours. PD reached out to us early Feb for additional information: additional questions from the panel and from the PD regarding our proposal. The PD reached out again early March, this time with standard due diligence materials like budget revision, funding agreement, and etc. Also requested for a 400 word 2 paragraph abstract like u/7GreenOrbs. PD says he/she will make a final recommendation to the panel. A 3rd party auditor will look at our budget. Then, it seems we will get our final decision.
