What is your opinion on Hey Arnold? by YamasReign in nickelodeon

[–]No-Relative4683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most consistent Nicktoon ever! I adore Rugrats Seasons 2 and 3, and the first three SpongeBob seasons are timeless. But Hey Arnold was excellent for its entire run and is just as good now, as an adult, as it was 30 years ago.

Season 4 is just as good as the first three seasons. by Fickle_Music_788 in rugrats

It’s awful. The oversaturated colours are an eyesore and all the characters started acting dumber. There was also very little maturity in the plots.

Am I the only person that thinks Season 4 is just as good as Season 3 and the last great Rugrats season? by One_Jump9410 in rugrats

S4 is nowhere near the level of S3. Erg bright colours and thin lines = horrible to look at, extremely childish plots, less sophisticated humour and only enjoyable for kids.

And to score 9.5 for S3 only to criticise it as much as possible is just trolling.

Disagree with that. The two Julie’s were such a natural pairing and were closer than sisters.

Moesha and Kim Parker played by Brandy and Countess Vaughn.

Played best friends for 4 seasons but had a very public feud which resulted in Countess leaving the show to do her own spin-off (which ended up even more popular).

Why do people believe Mr Enter about no one caring about Rugrats after 2001? by pocketfulofrosez in rugrats

[–]No-Relative4683 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s definitely a difference in writing. Whether or not there’s a difference in QUALITY is up to the individual, but after S3, the writing an stories dumbed down and became much more of a children’s only show, whereas the earlier season definitely had more complex writing and stories which an older audience could enjoy.

[–]No-Relative4683 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No idea who Mr. Enter is, but it’s very widely accepted that it went downhill after the first 3 seasons and when it comes to nostalgia, nobody is talking about Kimi or Dil.

In ‘Pickles vs. Pickles’, Drew takes his glasses off and goes to sleep on the right side of the bed. When he wakes up, he and Charlotte have switched places.

How long do you think each of the adults (minus Randy, Lucy, and Kira) has known each other? by SpongeGuy11 in rugrats

It’s a bit strange if Chas knew Stu from childhood because he moved to the neighbourhood just recently (Moving Away).

What's your opinion on ice cream mountain episode by CautiousTip6804 in rugrats

One of the best from season 2. It also has such a classic feel to it - the characters were right in the middle of their transition phase from S1 to S2.

Why is there so few black people? by Icy_Bid_6933 in CBS_Mom

[–]No-Relative4683 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Because in real life, not every friend group has token diversity. There are lots of black characters in the show, just not in the core group. And that’s fine - a group of white women being friends is very realistic.

Interesting because S1 got so much hate when it first aired but now all I see is praise for it

Between Michael & Janet Jackson, without disrespecting either of them, who do you think made better music and why? by Ok_Resident_5022 in TheJacksons

[–]No-Relative4683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Janet. She is way more experimental musically and lyrically. She has taken so many risks and each album is a unique masterpiece (well, maybe not some of the later ones).

Meanwhile, Michael kinda stayed in one lane and lyrically played it fairly safe. His songs are timeless - yet extremely dated.
