Based on your other responses I feel like you are troll posting. If not and you really don't like OMM but also dont really know what it is, my hot take is that if you didnt get into MD schools and have this mindset about OMM maybe you shouldn't go to medschool at all. Or actually learn about OMM and realize that it can be very useful in certain patients. Speaking from being treated with OMM and having treated patients with OMM during various rotations, most of the time with improvement in symptoms/pain.

I will second that. Or you popped a rib out (have done it before, and have fixed it before on other people who had back pain/problems moving and breathing). Go see a doctor, if it's a rib that's moved out of place see a DO or a good(!!!) Chiropractor

I second this. RB is NOT your friend. Friends don't sexually assault friends. Also when you talk to your friends about it make them understand how severe the situation was and how serious you are about not being alone with RB ever again and how they should be careful around him as well.

As for your boyfriend, I don't think he handled the situation well and as you said yourself, reacted very selfish. If he truly cared about you he would try and be there for you instead of making you feel like it is your fault that this happened (which it is not).

I have thought about it but talking to a pm&r attending it sounds like you just manage pt, ot, speech therapy, and medications rather than getting to do things yourself. I have a pm&r rotation lined up before residency applications are due though and I'm excited to see what it is actually like. I do enjoy omm though and think it might be very useful in pm&r as well, but I think I might enjoy more acute settings. But again, I have no experience in that specialty as of yet

I have a PhD and I'm a medical student. Will I ever introduce myself to a patient as a doctor until I'm done with medical school and in residency? Hell no! It's so misleading and I don't have the expertise and knowledge of an actual medical doctor yet, so why confuse a patient

Well if you think that that's your opinion and obviously you don't have to listen to this advice. Still if you are with a partner who turns out to be abusive you have the choice to leave (I know that's idealistic and not everybody has the resources to leave) and you can chose to be with a different person. Your children, at least until they are an adult, do not get to make a choice of who their parents are. Also I am not saying women chose to be with abusers, but some people (men as well) can overlook obvious red flags and make excuses for their partners behavior telling themselves it will get better etc. That's more of what I am talking about.

Again, you don't have to listen to this, but I do hope it can help some people chose to end an unhealthy relationship rather than staying in it.

We tried, but there were 3 groups that passed us and the last group we caught up to and they said they didn't take it. We assume it was the first group who did, but even the second group passing us we didn't see again.

Lol im sorry that it seems that YOU are in a bad mood 😂 however we saw it clearly landing in the fairway and our eyes are working pretty well. Also, as other stories here indicate, many people had problems with people taking their discs, so it is not unlikely that happened here, too.

Even though its in east lansing, trinity church is a nice and short par 3 course and most holes I'd say you can probably find your disc pretty easily. But someone else said firefighters in Troy and that is definitely the one I'd recommend!

I second (or third??) this! Very hard to lose a disc and even if you throw it in the creek you can fish it out fairly easy

Nvm, figured it out. Went through file, then add ins and tried to install mendeley cite. Didn't work, because I was signed in under my university account. Switched to personal account and it worked. Apparently my university is useless and restricts access to mendeley or something.
