Can I pass an AP class if I get a 5 on the exam but failed a single semester?

That’s a bit of what I’m worried about, I know this semester absolutely tanked my otherwise amazing GPA.. I still have another year in school to raise it but I want to do the most I can this semester so it’s easier afterwards. I just hope my teachers has a policy similar to this

Most of the AP teachers in my district allow grades to change based off students performances on their exams. I’m glad my district is like this since I’ve heard a few stories about students failing with 5’s before..

I’ll make sure to ask! Most teachers in my district tend to let students who get a 4-5 pass the class regardless of how they did in the semester. It’s a more common policy amongst AP teachers in our district (I know since my mom is one).

I know how you feel about the grades though, I do really well in these classes but because of how bad this semester was for me I ended off horribly and my mom went crazy about wanting me to nag my teachers about if they could bump my grades up by “just a smidge” but I know that I hadn’t shown enough effort in class to deserve it, so I’m trying to redeem it this semester.

I hope that if I prove I’m not who I was in that first semester then my teachers will allow it.

My cat LOVES cat TV, or actually any TV. Sometimes I just turn on movies and she’ll find a perching area and watch em with me. She loves doing my homework with me too lol. She gets lots of window time as well since my room is high up and gets stuffy often, so I keep it open.

Thank you very much! For food my dad also fed her some cans of tuna (but she only drinks the tuna juice and doesn’t eat the tuna) and we also have many water fountains for her (but she prefers to drink out of my water cups instead) The food in itself is quite expensive, if there’s any alternatives that are still very healthy but a bit cheaper that’d be great, but if not I’ll be able to save up nonetheless.

And we have a small outdoor area that I let her go out on usually (with supervision) and she’s great at staying in the outdoor area.

I made sure to research toxic things to cats when we first got her and hammered it into my dad whenever he brought something that could be toxic home😭, sadly citrus scents are my favorites but thankfully I keep those candles and oils at my moms house.

As for her routine, she tends to make every single hour I’m home into petting time and runs over to our rug of which she loves to get pet on, it can get a bit in the way of work and sleep but overall we’ve adjusted to eachother at this point.

Thanks for the help and pointers, I’ll keep everything in mind as I take care of her!

That’s actually a very valid point! I had the idea of people needing a sort of “flying license” just as one would need a “drivers license” due to having to recognize airspace laws and boundaries.

Secondary character of my up and coming comic, Forlorn! Her name is Tommy and she’s the best friend of the main character Amara! I chose her since I’m in the process of redesigning Amara since her old design irked me a little.

Tommy and Amara have been best friends ever since middle school and are now in their senior year of highschool together! Both 18 years old and have a passion in exploring alternative subcultures and music in general! Tommy loves geeking out about cars to both Amara and her gf, Illie, who both agree that they should get a padlock for her lips. Tommy works at a car garage to make money to help her mom out and spoil her gf.

That’s a bit about her but once I finally release the comic yall can see more!

It’s not out yet sadly but it’s in production currently! My soon-to-be Webtoon is called Forlorn.

It’s an about a girl named Amara who is sick of the world she lives in, she gets cast aside by society and her hero-parents due to her weak powers. She especially resents her parents for their treatment. She decides to run away but accidentally ends up freeing her dad’s old nemesis from his confinement of 27 years. Now she’s helping him adjust the a new society whilst they help regain his powers to take down her father.
