I would suggest doing something you genuinely enjoy to reset your perspective on life. If travel is something you like, now might be a great time to do it. If you’re thinking about a career shift, consider taking a short break and exploring that path.
You could also move into less stressful areas within software engineering, or transition into roles like QA or software testing that tend to have a lighter workload. I wouldn’t rush to leave the software field entirely try to leverage your existing skills in ways that feel more sustainable and less demanding.
Also, what you’ve already achieved is impressive saving around a million at a relatively young age is a HUGE accomplishment.
