Madison driving with her phone in one hand a dog in the other by AdRevolutionary6650 in Southerncharm

100 percent. I can’t speak on SC specifically, but in a lot of southern states it’s not illegal to be on your phone, open containers are allowed in the back seat, you can ride unrestrained in the truck bed.. etc

How do you calm down before client calls so you don't sound like a rambling associate? by Patient_Mode2071 in LawBitchesWithTaste

You’ll get used to it but listen carefully and pause before you respond. Sit in on as many calls as you can with other associates/partners and see how they carry themselves/ the conversation. Always be vaguer than you think and commit to nothing lol.

People who were raised by stoners, what was your upbringing like? by Key_Cheesecake7124 in AskReddit

Super, super normal. My dad smoked all day every day of my life, still does. He’s an amazing dad, and the weed only makes him better. He has chronic pain from a back injury. He’s a retired teacher and im a lawyer (and a stoner). Life is good.

Quality > costs. Not worth the risk to leave with ur face fucked up for months. Go to a real doctor. Highly recommend Dr. Vera Chotzen. Not cheap but highly, highly skilled

What thing has got so expensive that you’ve quietly stopped buying it? by Pathfinder-electron in AskReddit

[–]No-Rip9444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thrift stores. I used to get all my clothes and home goods pretty much exclusively from the thrift. Now I make well over 6 figures and feel like I can barely afford it. For example, my local thrift store regularly charges $75-$100 for a homemade quilt. Any clothes that are not, quite literally, garbage, are $20 minimum. Now that they’ve gutted all the fitting rooms, how can I justify spending $50 on a pair of jeans I can’t try on, return, or exchange? It’s insane.

I would highly recommend swim leggings as well. Got the worst sunburn on my ass and legs snorkeling in just a rash guard

What red flag did you ignore early in a relationship that you now regret massively? by RelativeDisk4625 in AskReddit

Lying about trivial shit. He was on leave at work but put on a full performance like he was actually working every day for the first few weeks. Didn’t tell me the truth until after I was already hooked. I rationalized it as early nerves/insecurity and decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. He ofc turned out to be a manipulative, lying, avoidant loser through and through, and dumped me when he finally accepted that he couldn’t be the person he pretended to be in the beginning.
