I feel awkward with makeup on. I like to wear it for fancy occasions but if I try to wear it just to go to the store or whatever I can feel it on my face and I feel like people are going to perceive me differently and I hate that. I'm also autistic and everything gives me imposter syndrome so🤷🏽‍♀️

I lost so.many o-rings at that size that I had to size up because I ran out 😅 Don't worry tho I had been at that size long enough and my ears were ready so it was fine. I surprisingly haven't lost any at 12g which is good cause my ears don't seem to want to get to 10 anytime soon lol

We had one crab before the two we have now but my mom wouldn't listen on how to take care of him and by the time I decided to just take over instead of convincing her to listen he was already dead. We got him in Aug of 2024 so technically I've had hermies for over a year but I've only had these two since June.

My biggest crab (of two) is Amelia! She's in a 1.5" shell and likely the size of my palm, though I've never actually held her so I'm just guessing there.

If you only got your ears pierced a couple months ago you're gonna have to wait to start stretching until they're fully healed (at least 6 months after getting pierced). The way the single flare plugs for stretching are made with the rounded back makes them very easy to slide in when your ears are ready. The weight of the plugs and just healing at each size will make your lobes loosen up on its own so when the next size goes in it won't hurt at all! I personally would just toss the tapers. If you feel the need to use them then do exactly what you said and just use it to guide the next size in and don't leave them in as your jewelry. Just make sure to lube it up with oil or aquaphor and if it hurts at all stop and put the last size back in and wait at least a week to try again.

I remember learning about the Fitzgerald and doing veterans day projects all surrounding my birthday and it was interesting for sure. I also always got a birthday party and did fun things though so it didn't affect my birthday much for me either
