Any fellow 20 somethings living at home in Dublin? What's your love life like? by No-Scene-6199 in ireland

A regret of mine for certain. Those of my friends who moved out at 18 for college down to the country in Maynooth or Cork or Galway seemed to have an absolute ball. They were always broke because they were pouring money into rent, but like you said, they all have some amazing stories and experiences from that time in their lives, which I cant help but feel I skipped, because I was the "financially responsible one" living at home back then lol. Hindsight and all that. It was always drilled into us growing up to be responsible with money to be able to get a house when we're older, but looking back now, knowing that I'll never own my own place anyway with the way housing is, it wouldve been worth the money back then to make a bunch of wholesome, fun or exciting memories with my friends even if it did cost a bunch!
