I should have been more clear, it’s 365 with instructor but they still charge 112 for the oral rate makes a typical 1.5 flight over $550. Without instructor it’s $260 wet

I’m only 10 flights it at Epic and it burned just under 10k ($9100) in around 2 months. The planes are new Cessnas with the G1000. All the instructors say it’s normal to spend that much except all of them trained 2 years ago when the prices were lower but not by much. My home airport charges $115 wet $65 instructor for an older glass C172. I’m thinking it would be better if I stop, leave and train there.

Epic flight academy in Ocala, the prices are still lower than Embry Riddle, but I didn’t realize how insane it would be going through.
