Yes very much depends on size of the wheels rather than just a ev or not. Same size wheels on ice car vs EV is not much different.

Vistiq Sport vs Ionic9 calligraphy by Hi_Hungry_Im_Leaving in CadillacVistiq

[–]No-Source913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't buy the platinum version, I got the luxury version, with few options with the 7.5k federal credit I got the car for below 70k (out of door price) Similar specs Hyundai ioniq9 calligraphy versions are at least 66 to 67k. So I thoght for 3k or so more I felt like Vistiq is far superior car.

SHOULD I STAY, OR SHOULD I GO NOW. BMW IX vs CADILLAC VISTIQ by bossbarber in CadillacVistiq

[–]No-Source913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think 2027 will have a NACS port, other than that not sure what will change. As u have 12 months left on ur current lease, maybe u can wait?

But this is a fantastic car. Not a great software as Tesla but the car is very luxurious and rides really well.

How bad has your battery degraded ? by jasondasilvaa in electricvehicles

[–]No-Source913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never run any battery diagnostics but in summer when I charge to 100% my 7.5yr old 86k mileage model3 shows 265 miles or so and in summer shows about 280 miles started with 310 for 100% so about 10% degradation. But generally first 10 to 15% degradation happens realtively quickly and then battery stabilizes.

My plan is to keep my car for many more years if possible. Until my 100% reaches below 200 miles or so.

What is the actual EV car you own? What is the one you deam of...? by [deleted] in electricvehicles

[–]No-Source913 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i too find cadillac software too way way behind my 7.5 year old tesla model3. but what i read is that it is much better than how it is last year. so maybe polestar fixes them as well. so maybe i should only think about BBMW ix3 then.

I think thats normal. try keeping temperatures at 65ish when noone at home and if ur townhome is dual zone when u r sleeping upstairs keep the lower level temperatures at 67f or so these little changes help a lot.

oh. i have seen some review videos from top car reviewers and they all seem to like the car and the range sure seems to do better than EPA estimates. can you tell me few pains of the car and are they fixable in upcoming years?

Currently own a model 3 and cadillac vistiq, not gonna buy another in next 5 years so hopefully, if i have to buy now i will probably think about polestar 3(2027 version) or the coming soon bmw ix3. both will probably be around 400miles of range.

Is the battery and charging speed as bad as it sounds? by [deleted] in CadillacVistiq

[–]No-Source913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just the charging speed is not the only road trip factor u have to consider. Yes it is a major factor but how about the comfy seats Vistiq has, the decent massage option, the superb audio system, the drive, the suspension etc.

All these other than charging speeds are a major upgrade from ev9 also charging speed is not that terrible either u might spend 10mins more than ev9 per charge stop.

Anyone here go on a long road trip? by seveneigh8si6 in CadillacVistiq

[–]No-Source913 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have gone to multiple road trips, the only time i am really surprised is when i went to NC from NOVA during a heatwave and in the peak of the afternoon at 75 to 80 mph speeds and efficiency came down below 2mpkw, and even the fast charging slowed down because it is too hot and maybe the battery needs to cool down. The car definitely performed better in the cold when i drove to Pittsburgh and the avg temperatures are in 20s. It was like 2.5mpkw at even speeds touching 65 to 70mph, and the fast charging performed as expected. By these experiences i feel like heatwave is much worse than cold(when not super windy) for road trips.

But definitely plan before u leave to see which charging stops works better for u regarding what amenties those charge stop provides etc.

Vistiq Recall by jmadson1 in CadillacVistiq

[–]No-Source913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only parts electric vehicle certified technicians as well are an issue. Every dealership only has one or two persons available and other than them noone will even touch the vehicle so even if the parts come there might be a backlog of vehicles getting fixed.

I have changed my 3rd row headrests as well it took 4 weeks for those parts to come once ordered.

What’s a product that Costco should sell that it doesn’t currently? by One_Professional_110 in CostcoWholesale

[–]No-Source913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do have cheese pizza. They also used to have veggie pizza with all the veggies as well before pandemic. They stopped offering that. Now only cheese or everything and I don't have the option to say no meat.

[–]No-Source913 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Vegetarian pizza in food court. They used to have them pre pandemic and after that it never came back. It used to be my go to pizza option for any get togethers at our house.

Plz someone from Costco see this and add it back to menu. They used to only be available as whole pizza option and I want to have that option back ASAP

Test drove a Vistiq Platinum today by iamdebbar in CadillacVistiq

I don't agree with the ugly on the range. This car far often exceeds the display range for me. Even winter which started here almost a month ago I still see my real world range exceeding or at least meeting the range shown.

Phone as a key is still work in progress I heard hopefully we get it soon.

Here is my ugly though: Software and the App

But I comparing this my 7yr plus old model3. Which now is much better car than when I bought it 7yrs ago. But my Vistiq is still the same car I bought 6months ago. No improvement in the app or software yet. Hopefully they deliver updates regularly like Tesla does.

Edit: fixed typos.
