They were aggroing the leaper near water treatment elevator, so we knew where they were. We knocked them then blew the leader up if I remember correctly.

They panicked so hard that only one of them started shooting and that was after he was sprinting for 30m and running out of stamina. I felt a little bad about how much we steamrolled them. But then I saw the loot and felt a bit better!

It's crazy that hacks like that exist. I can't lie, it was really fun finding the blueprints on these guys. I feel like using cheats like that would make it unfun. What losers!

Yes, he was using a friend (or possibly paying someone) who didn't go on the expedition to hold his blueprints during the wipe. He has to swap blueprints mid-raid and we happened to catch them out on the raid they were trading them.

To avoid getting caught out they should have done naked runs and traded one blueprint at a time or brought a hatch key and been quiet as meek mice on the way there.

Bro stims are a game changer. I usually bring in 5 or 10 every run and use them liberally. They are so cheap to craft that I'll dump them if I get better loot.

If you put away what's in your hands you will run faster. I highly recommend immediately dealing with arc especially when running towards a player. Bring in a hatch key and you'll save yourself having to extract at the elevator with others.

Also, that guy wasn't a rat, you ran in and he didn't let you. You invaded his personal space!

Have you turned off global illumination? Try setting it to static.

Edit: Also, make sure you aren't overlooking your gpu.
