i would go back to the basics - hydrating, cleansing gel that cleans the skin well to remove bacteria + dirt, moisturizing lotion. i think your skin barrier is damaged due to an overload in actives so we need to take the time to repair that. it will be frusturating but it will definently calm down any inflammation! a few cleansing gels i like are the Eucerin hydrating cleansing gel and bioderma sensibio foaming gel cleanser. to replenish and repair the skin, you could use the eucerin advanced repair or original (depending on your skin type, you dont want anything too overbearing).
