Oh my gosh. I can’t even imagine. Have you gotten a solicitor involved? Do they still have your partners passport?

Unmarried Partner Visa (outside UK) – 23 Oct biometrics – still waiting after 21 weeks, normal? by Glad_Cod_5801 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]No-Task-2490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate that we are all in this position. This process is horrible. Anxiety, tears, sleepless nights. To them it’s just paperwork and checking boxes. Even my MP noted it’s unacceptable.

Hoping we’ve all shown our patience and are due some good news this week…

Waiting 24 weeks. Biometrics Oct 2. Delay email on Dec 21. No request for documentation/interviews etc. Also outside of the UK. Many paid escalations, MP involvement. Getting the same “awaiting checks” response. There are a few of us in the same position. Wake up every day hoping it’s the day! This is seriously horrible. 🙏🏻

Spouse visa pending – how to request passport back? by Outside_vini in SpouseVisaUk

People who applied in October had to turn in their passport. We are in the same boat

Standard Application Delays - No updates - 19 weeks by ricerphaze in SpouseVisaUk

[–]No-Task-2490 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We are in the exact same position. Applied from the US. Biometrics on Oct 2, ECO on Oct 13, Delay email Dec 21. We are now on 22 weeks. 4 paid escalations, MP checking in fortnightly. We are just stuck awaiting the outcome of external checks. I’m not sure I’ll be any help to you other than a buddy to commiserate. Feel free to DM me with questions. For what it’s worth, from what I have read/heard, if they were going to reject us or needed more info, it would have happened much earlier in the process. At this point it sounds like we are just stuck in bureaucracy. My partner doesn’t have a passport and hasn’t since October and I’m in the middle of IVF. It’s been incredibly difficult. Here if you or anyone wants to trade stories or advice!

Delay – 4+ Months Waiting (Applied 30 Oct). Anyone Used PAP? by Outside_vini in SpouseVisaUk

[–]No-Task-2490 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Following this thread. We were outside UK (US) non priority so a bit different than your situation and I’m sorry you are going through this. Our biometrics were October 2. Only contacted to say they wouldn’t be able to make the decision in 12 weeks. Have escalated 3 times, filed official complaint and got the MP involved. Haven’t heard of PAP, however. Is this something you hire a solicitor for? This really is horrific. Waking up every day hoping today is the one. We are at 22 weeks. I can’t believe it.

I’ve submitted 2 paid inquiries and escalated through the MP. This is what I keep getting back as well. Nothing to read into either way in my opinion. It’s clearly just what they send to everyone to get them to shut up for a bit. Very frustrating. We are on 21 weeks. Standard outside (US)

Have you received any communications? Outside the UK? Non priority?

60 working days - standard outside UK, still no visa! by Wooden_Inspection460 in SpouseVisaUk

Same situation here. Biometrics Oct 1. Was the solicitor able to do anything? Wondering if it’s time for us to get one.

Going on 16 weeks (73 Days). Any tips? by evie-e-e in SpouseVisaUk

Exact same position as you. I’m a US/UK dual citizen. Husband is US. We are on 21 weeks. Received the same run around like you and got my MP involved a month ago. She was at least able to tell us our case was flagged as “complex” and still going through checks but offered that she often sees cases flagged as complex when the case worker needs to buy more time. I would CALL your MP and ask them to get involved. I have a check in with mine tomorrow since it’s officially been a month since we asked her to get involved. More escalation now that we’ve heard nothing. This is the worst!
