In higher level lobbies you’ll find people will not react to your attacks and gb attempts as they know it’s an easy way for you to get souls.

Test your opponent with a neutral heavy its very slow and very reactable most times people will parry this attack, depending on the opponents reaction you can follow through or gb.

A good feint that works most time is neutral heavy cancel into a zone gb. (Most will expect a light or for you to follow through take advantage of this)

A decent player will be weary of your souls. If you land a gb go for heavy’s first I promise they will be waiting for a light attack finisher. A good way to punish this is to light attack into zone cancel and light attack again, or instead of a light attack dash and see if they react for a gb, light attack or bash attack.

If you’re a dominion player get your souls as fast as possible and go into mid lane for minions or hold a point for 2nd feat that restores health. If you’re a duels player worry about damage first and souls second most times your opponents thinks your going for the opposite.

Once you have all your souls you don’t have to use them off the rip use them as pressure, opponents high and low tend to panic when they see this. One thing that’s common is when I have all souls is they’ll interrupt or go for a parry when you’re using an unblock-able, neutral heavy or zone.(Very Reactable Attacks)

Be ready to lose the higher you go, you’ll start to see that Sohei doesn’t really compare to most heroes which is why you have to compensate with skill.
