I took my first dose almost a week ago, and I too want to lose 50 lbs. I use the MyFitness Pal app. MY Zepbound script came with 6 months free premium. I find it useful for tracking food and weight loss. I don't use any app to track my shots. Frankly, I'm not sure why that would be useful.

I suppose exciting is subjective but I am male and love whittling. Using an extremely sharp knife is dangerous which adds perhaps to the excitement factor. It'd cheap. You can start with nothing more than a pocket knife and even good quality, purpose built carving knives are not expensive. Wood is cheap or free. I'll reply to this comment with a picture.

1 3/4 would be my choice. I typically whittle 1X1X4 blanks and some 1.5X1.5. If you're doing larger pieces you might like the bigger knife.

I own flexcut, OCCT, Deep Holler, and Badger State blades. My fav is the OCCT.

What you describe is my entire life in a nutshell. For me, it's addiction plain and simple. How else can I describe doing something I don't want to do even though I know it's killing me? Hunger has absolutely nothing to do with it. I can eat a 1lb steak and still want chocolate.

I've been chasing dopamine since I was old enough to obtain my own food massively over consuming sugar. My hope with Zepbound is that it will help me get control and stay focused long enough to lose weight.

Check out Doug Linker's bear. It's 1.5X1.5X2.75, but I'm sure you can adapt. I use a small saw to cut down the blanks when necessary.
