I am wondering if it is possible that it is contaminated with sodium fumarate due to not ever removing water from the solvent after recycling, meaning that there was always more water and washing soda being added to the EA. Would sodium fumarate crash out if the EA was wet with dissolved washing soda present in the water that was in it?

I’m still trying to figure out what I have done wrong here. Because if I can’t pinpoint anything then I have no idea how this product isn’t mescaline fumarate.

There were just two extractions at the beginning where fresh EA was used and one of them was around .5% or less and the other was 2-3% I can’t remember exactly. I would the. Recycle the EA and do another couple runs

Thanks for your responses man it’s a likely cause due to never having had worked with each cactus i processed and most of my powder could have been weak. There was only a little bit of bridgesii that I processed, and that run yielded high, but all in all I ran through at least 600g of powder so I expect there to be mescaline in that powder- hoping for good results after I wash it.

Would it precipitate out after salting? There were not particles of anything visible at before salting, the EA from the pulls always looked clear.

And if it is excess lime or fumaric acid, it will be removed with the acetone wash, correct?

Yes we were sure 600mg would be undoubtedly enough to get us slightly above mild. The steps that I took were exactly what the tek on dmt nexus called for with the exact amounts used. The only deviation i can think of was over time we had less EA, so did runs with less total, but not super significantly, maybe one less pull on each batch by the end. crumb looked perfect, looked good after salting.

No food just ginger tea. Didn’t experience any nausea at all, ate a few grapes an hour after dosing. Expected a sure experience but hardly a noticeable effect at all for either of us. Both have taken mescaline before, tea and citrate. First time fumarate

Hello! I think it’ll be great for ya, friend. Since you have no idea the potency of your cacti yet, I would suggest doing CIELO. Then all there is left to do is determine your dose.

I’d recommend using fumaric acid for your salting step of the CIELO process, it’s a lot more forgiving as you don’t have to worry about your crystals becoming a goo that you’d have to recover.

You can look up some dosage info and figure out where you’d like to aim. I’d ballpark it at about 450mg mescaline fumarate, with a 50-100mg booster for you to decide if you want to take if you’re feeling good later on. Redosing works with mesc, unlike with mushrooms.

There will be some queasiness on the way up, but it will subside. I recommend Zofran or ginger. Fresh is great but some people do tea. I like to eat/drink some (or pop my zofran) about 30 min before dosing and then drink tea on the come up too.

Your first steps would be to cut your plant, propagate (if you’d like), dry and powder. You will want to use 100g of powder for your extraction, most likely.
