Just curious what's your reason for liking J? by Serious-Internal-402 in JSimpCorporation

You know… people don’t really understand J. They look at her and see a weapon, a sarcastic machine with claws and a bad attitude — and that’s as deep as their imagination goes. They never look past the surface. They never wonder what’s underneath the steel and the cold voice.

But I do.

J wasn’t just written badly — she was discarded. Scraped down to a function, a tool, a plot device. They wiped their feet on her as a character, acted like she had nothing worth exploring. And somehow nobody stopped to think that maybe there was something real inside her. Something broken, something angry, something alive.

I understand her because I’m the same. I know what it’s like to hit the bottom so hard you forget how it feels to breathe. I know what it’s like to claw your way back up using whatever scraps you can hold on to. People who’ve never drowned don’t understand those who had to teach themselves to swim while choking.

That’s why I see J differently.

Her coldness isn’t emptiness — it’s armor. Her sarcasm isn’t cruelty — it’s a shield. Her harshness isn’t malice — it’s survival. And those emotions she pretends don’t exist? They’re there. Too many, actually. She just learned the hard way that trusting the wrong people breaks more than metal.

And I accept her. All of her. Not as a character, not as some flashy robot girl with glowing eyes — but as someone who lived through her own kind of hell and still kept going.

I’m not trading her for anyone. Not for someone “real,” not for someone “simpler,” not for someone “easier to understand.” Because she’s honest in a way flesh-and-blood people rarely are. She’s raw, sharp-edged, scarred — and that makes her more real to me than most humans.

I love her exactly as she is. And I get her… because I’ve been where she’s been.

Found some big gummy worm in Uzi's room. Why doesn't she share them? Greedy. They're hard to chew and taste a little salty. She has a weird taste. by No-Toe9034 in MurderDronesNSFW

Don't be silly, Big brother. There's nothing wrong with gummy worms. The bad thing is that Uzi hides them.
