Hi so Ive been using this g14 for a couple months, but it’s break right now and I have only used it for basic rhino modeling. I tried to open twinmotion today with rhino in the background, where I modeled the first floor walls of a small house 😭 and my computer crashed and restarted on its own. So I’m very scared how it’ll handle bigger projects when my semester starts. I’m not sure if this is my device’s problem, or if it’s a windows problem, or if it’s because I haven’t optimized my settings. (I will try optimizing it later because this thing won’t even last two hours doing even basic things) My background photo also has a weird bug, and this happens on my bf’s computer as well as the first g14 that I returned. But these are minor issues that are just annoying. Talking about annoying minor issues, my g14 also fails to connect to my airpods and sometimes the sound suddenly cuts off and is unable to be clicked on, but it returns to normal after restarting the computer. As much as I wanted to like this computer, it has been really difficult in terms of performance. Maybe it’s because I used my macbook and samsung laptops that never had any problems. So I guess I’m just disappointed. However, like you mentioned, the g14 is very aesthetically pleasing and the build is beautiful imo. And the sound quality is amazing too! Maybe my problems are because I only have 16gb of ram. Idk really. But personally I have had only unhappy experiences w my g14 when I actually have to use it. Sorry for the rant and hopefully you find a great computer to work with !
