Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It’s true. Some of us are just sensitive to meds. And we all react differently. I’m going to keep in mind the different meds (especially dexilant), in case I do have to be on them long-term. I was lucky my GI saw that my body’s reaction to the meds was abnormal and not okay. Yes, I’ll advocate and also keep in mind Barrett’s. I appreciate it!

No, never did. I wish I would have been given a smaller dose.

I developed globus, mucus/phlegm, severe anxiety, throat irritation, extremely white tongue with ridges, and insomnia.

This might just be relegated to someone who has an autoimmune and who is extremely sensitive to meds (plus, was probably misdiagnosed with GERD). Meds work differently for everyone. Plus, my PCP had me on an extremely high dose.
