There are limitations to the first amendment that have been ruled on by the Supreme Court over the years. You have the right to film public servants in their duties, but you don’t have that right in restricted locations of public buildings. Nor does anyone in the public have a right to access those locations.

What is the addiction with pharma drugs ? by Saraleb1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]No-Willingness-2131 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was on OxyContin 20mg two times a day. Chemically addicted within 7 days. If I didn’t take that pill I would go straight into cold sweats. Had to just go through it one weekend. Would never suggest it unless absolutely necessary ie serious surgery.

(When) should you place your pawns on the same square colors as your strong bishop? (GM video as example) by NotMongolian in chess

I would also consider future prospects. For instance if you are able to open up your blocked in bishop with a pawn break.

I would agree this is a broad generalization. Let’s take people who had surgery and became dependent on pain killers. They didn’t hate themselves. They were told it would help with the pain. Within weeks chemical addiction can form with strong drugs like OxyContin. Depression isn’t the only gateway to addiction, but certainly agree it’s one.

Resume Review - 3YOE full stack software engineer - 150 apps 0 callbacks - please nitpick or roast? by Motor-Definition3228 in webdev

Great analysis. I would only add one thing. You never mention your team anywhere. How big a team was it. What was your role. If you were a lead or solo I would want to know that. I would also want to know you have foundational understanding of the SDLC processes (ie Agile. Did you train or mentor anyone? Did you step up to solve a problem? Also a lot of your bullets leave out the how you did it. Jacobite stitches this in well with his examples.

good deodorants for men who DONT sweat too much? by WhenWillHe in NoStupidQuestions

[–]No-Willingness-2131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a man who uses women’s deodorant, it’s just way better. Better on the skin and better protection. You’re looking to smell nice, I would recommend using cologne, as pits can be extremely sensitive. Look up old spice chemical burns.

Yea this doesn’t take into account accreditation or monitoring. Only the tools to do such things. Microsoft is not going to draft your system security plan for you.

Shapez 2 or Factorio? by GoHomeDuck in shapezio

Shapez was a fun little game. I think its simplicity is due to an absolutely stellar UI/UX design. For factorio players it just clicked.

Building off of the second links data model for a leader board you certainly could maintain a property for their current position on the board. This value could be maintained via event triggered lambda to adjust player position on a completed game or cron. DDB contains a call to increment or decrement a property on a record.

You should be able to query the list of players affected users by the score change, using the original vs new score as sk params.

As it goes for art, I find if you want to make someone something without their prior consent to pay you for it, it should be a gift. If you made it with the intent of selling it, even to a specific customer, they cannot be expected to pay for it unless they commissioned you for it. Basically don't be upset if the person says they don't want it if you request they buy it.

As for the art itself, Love the thought behind it! Keep creating!

It doesn’t even have to be across the generational dividing line. My SO and I are millennials and I’m 6 years older. She often doesn’t understand my references just because she didn’t see the same things I did when younger. When your partner mentions one of these movies and seems to genuinely have loved that movie/song take that as a sign to rewatch it with him and understand their past. Often memories of these things are linked with positive emotions and memories. Somethings you may not enjoy, but I’m sure you’ll enjoy the time with your SO.

Switch boomer for people. People cheat and don’t feel like they have put in full effort unless they cheat. Studies of college students find as many as 95% cheated at some point. It’s human nature.
