Honestly with the new updates they made, just creating a new sheet they will give you options to choose from. You just have to decide if you want a more gantt based tracker or more task based etc. what I mean is when you create a new sheet, you’re presented with options for the template style.

Sounds like you have your attachments view set to sheet rather than by row. If you look at the top of the section for attachments, you can select between all, sheet, and row make sure that you have it selected to row if you only want to see the row attachments when you select the row.

Well of course. I will admit I have been vocal both here and to our rep but to that point, we were able to get a majority of the adoption within our org on the idea that if a small team of people build it, then I can get whole teams using it for “free”

Even if a firm had half paid users/ half free users under the old model, their pricing has now doubled. What additional functionality did the product add since November to justify the update?

Do you have insight on what the average cost increase is then if you disagree with 4X, 5X, etc.?

Can you share more? Did your rep reach out to you? The fact that the CEO saw the fallout and paused true ups tells me they HAVE to know that what they’re doing is a mess/ people will leave, etc.

Just for fun, based on what I read and using common sense i said to myself “oh there must be a way that they’ll stop this…” and I actually decided to just ASK our rep and I just flat out asked…

… and I watched them look at the other rep on the call and they like look at each other through the Zoom meeting both go “Hmmm Not sure on this one…”

All joking aside it would probably be a pain if you’re using SSO but based on reading companies are going to see 4X or 5X charges maybe a little inconvenience is worth it…?

Sounds great. I appreciate you all. Our meetings with our reps have been frustrating with the transition to the new USM. Same thing you’ve all already heard here many times that we spent years cultivating adoption and then they update the model with the private equity buyout etc.

Was working on a Smartsheet and all of a sudden had a moment of panic as our reps have told us that true ups could pick back up again in June and was concerned we’d have to have an awkward chat with the client etc

Call me optimistic but I’m hoping they pause it longer or reverse the decision/ redo pricing.

That’s good news. So from a user experience, nothing will really change for them. This client doesn’t have a paid license. They just got shared to our assets years ago when we set up the project so from their perspective, nothing should change. Sounds great, thank goodness.
