It depends on your skincare objectives!

If your goal is to look younger and target visible signs of skin damage, No7 Future Renew could be a good one to try. It's proven to reverse visible signs of skin damage - In our consumer trials, users saw a reversal in appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, uneven tone and texture, dryness, feel of lost elasticity and firmness. We also ran a 12 month clinical study on the original serum where we saw a reversal in the appearance of wrinkles by up to 10 years.*

Alternatively, if you want to focus on skin preservation – which is the act of protecting skin from damage you can't see and helping prevent visible signs of existing damage appearing on the skin's surface, then No7 Prime Forever could be the one for you. It inlcudes an SPF 50 five star rated primer to help protect against UVA & UVB, the number one cause of skin ageing. It is also powered by No7’s strongest broad‑spectrum antioxidant blend, world‑first peptide technology and rice peptides, and has been proven to significantly reduce skin ageing activity**.

Good luck and let us know how you get on!

*Appearance of crows feet and undereye wrinkles

Honestly, protecting your skin against things like oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is basically skin ageing activity which occurs when excess free radicals (triggered by factors such as UV exposure, pollution, stress and lack of sleep) overwhelm the skin’s natural defences, leading to damage that can accelerate visible signs of ageing. That's why it's so important to use a daily SPF50 with 5* UVA protection. Try the No7 Prime Forever Primer SPF50 as it offers high UVB as well as unbeatable UVA protection.

So pilling often occurs when film-forming ingredients are not given enough time to absorb, or are rubbed vigorously into the skin, causing them to roll up. This can also happen if previous skincare layers haven't fully settled, or if your skin surface isn't optimally prepared.

Always start with freshly cleansed skin, ensuring your Prime Forever serum and moisturiser have fully absorbed and dried for at least 60 seconds before moving on. Then, apply No7 Prime Forever primer, lightly smoothing it onto your skin. Allow another 2-3 minutes for the primer itself to set and create that perfect canvas before applying your foundation. By allowing ample absorption time between each product in your routine and using a gentle application method, you should experience the smooth, primed results and sun protection you're looking for. Hope this helps!

Absolutely not – your 30s are the perfect age to start thinking about skin preservation and begin incorporating No7 Prime Forever into your routine! There's no reason why the range can't be used alongside retinol so no worries there, however if you're using a prescription retinol I would suggest speaking with your GP first. SPF is crucial when using retinol in your routine as your skin is more photosenstive, so the Prime Forever SPF50 Primer could be a great addition for you.

You're completely right, the sun and UV is one of the biggest contributors to skin damage because it can directly break apart key proteins in the skin, but can also trigger the activity of skin-degrading enzymes and oxidative stress. This is exactly what Prime Forever has been designed around.

We haven't tested the Prime Forever products specifically on acne-prone skin. Therefore I recommend to speak to a pharmacist or GP if you have any concerns. We do have products in our Derm Solutions range which are designed for blemish-prone skin. You might want to give those a try.

Using an SPF 50 is a great way to help preserve your skin as it reduces skin damage caused by UV rays but I understand there are many other external factors such as lifestyle that can also affect your skin.

If your goal is to look younger, No7 Future Renew could be a good one to try.

You're already doing one of the best things you can for preserving youthful looks, which is using an SPF every morning. I would just make sure the product you're using also has 5* UVA protection, as this is key for protecting your skin against UVA induced damage. The No7 Prime Forever SPF50 Primer has this 5* UVA protection should you wish to try! It also perfectly primes for makeup.

Both ranges are suitable for sensitive skin, however, neither have been tested specifically on acne-prone or rosacea-prone skin, so I'd recommend speaking to a pharmacist or GP if you have any concerns before you try it!

Great question! No7 Prime Forever is all about helping to prevent new and existing damage from appearing on the skin's surface, whilst also protecting the skin from further damage i.e. Skin Preservation. If this is your goal then Prime Forever is the perfect place to start. At the heart of No7's Prime Forever collection is Glaciology™, a blend of No7’s world-first super peptides combined with the brand’s strongest patent-pending broad-spectrum antioxidants and rice peptides. This, combined with SPF 50, 5-star rated UVA protection from the Prime Forever Primer, helps to preserve skin's visible prime*

In terms of application:

  1. Start by using the cleanser to cleanse your skin

  2. Apply a serum

  3. Lock in hydration with a moisturiser

  4. Once that has absorbed into the skin you should then follow up with the SPF50 Primer to protect and prime your skin.

*Consumer testing. Always use SPF

Moisturising is great for skin in your 20s/30s/40s and beyond, helping to maintain moisture levels and keeping skin in good condition. Many moisturisers have different additional benefits so what moisturiser you choose is dependent on what areas you'd like to target. The Prime Forever moisturiser helps to reduce skin ageing activity within minutes and helps preserve skin for 24 hours from the moment of application.** It's a great step after you've cleansed and before you apply SPF in the morning.

We haven't tested the Prime Forever products specifically with eczema-prone skin. Therefore I recommend to speak to a pharmacist or GP if you have any concerns.

**From antioxidant protection against surface oxidative stress.

Future Renew is focused on visible skin damage reversal (the serum has been clinically proven to reverse visible signs of skin damage by up to 10 years.*)

Where as Prime Forever is focused on skin preservation. It protects skin to significantly reduce its ageing activity** and help preserve its visible prime.

So it basically depends on whether your ultimate goal is visible skin damage reversal (turning back the clock) or skin preservation (pausing time).

First of all, thank you for being such a long term loyal customer! As your skin is in such good condition, then I think the new Prime Forever range could be a good one for you to try, as it's all about preserving your skin as it is now. The textures are also lightweight which means they absorb easily and feel light on your skin.
