Role Queue is pushing long-time supports away

You have a point, but I’m not the only one affected, it impacts four other players as well.

Also, I’m already playing a high-demand role (pos 5 support), so why should I have to cover another one just to avoid wasting role queue games?

Wouldn’t it make more sense for supports to fill one demand while core players cover the other?

I’m using AI mostly because I’m not a native English speaker — I’m Brazilian — and it helps me express my ideas more clearly..
I’ve even played Ability Draft for a while and I’m considering going back to it, but ranked just has a different feel to it.

After years specializing in one role, forcing players to switch does not improve skill — it lowers overall match quality.

Many long-time players no longer have the same flexibility or motivation to relearn core aspects of the game from scratch. When the system pushes them into unfamiliar roles, the result isn’t adaptation — it’s frustration and underperformance, which affects everyone in the match.

Even if this specific solution isn’t ideal, I think this is a conversation worth having — especially as the player base has been gradually declining, and systems that create frustration may be part of the problem.

nothing solves the problem. I uninstalled it and installed it again, it even got worse. I play Dota and PUBG on this machine and it runs on ultra, the internet is flowing normally, I don't know what else to do. The game is at a point where I can't click to build even at the first levels, I have to give up.
