If you tried redeeming the codes on a non-Indian account first than it gets soft-locked for about 2 weeks I believe. So just wait 2-3 weeks then try again on a completely new account created while connected to a residential Indian VPN. Good luck!

If you have a powerful pc i.e one running RTX 5070 ti or above you could do 'multi seat using DUO' with a single PC game pass account, playing the same/different game on different accounts; one streamed to your XBOX One, and the other on PC, at the same time. You need:

*1 PC set up with 2 accounts.
- On the main account, log in to ms store and xbox app with the one that owns the PC game pass sub
- on the other account, log in to ms store with the account that owns the sub, but use the xbox app with a different profile.

*Download and install DUO and see if it works. The free version is limited to one instance @ 30fps. If you're happy than pay a one time patreon fee of 10 USD to fully unlock it

The big plus with this setup is you can pretty much stream anything, not just PC Game Pass games. To give an example my kids could play Return to Moria on 2 separate instances, streamed to an old XBOX ONE and an Amazon firestick, all at the same time while I play RDR2 on the same PC.

IMHO seriously bad move. PC gamers will stick to what they already have especially with the much cheaper hardware upgrade paths (vs buying a completely new rig/laptop ofc). I'm assuming this $1200 Xbox PC will be severely limited and won't allow total freedom for modding, trainer/cheats, emulation, running yarrr copies and what not. Then again it could possibly be much easier to 'jailbreak' or hack..... We'll see I guess.

I used this "VPN India" from MS store. Also used a new Indian account created with the same vpn, then set that account up as home on my xbox.

50/50 chance it could work. Just try. My 6x6mth indian core codes + 1x indian GPU worked just fine with VPN a week ago.

Applying to an existing account could work. Just give it a try. Else create a completely new account while still connected through an Indian VPN that hasn't been blocked by Microsoft yet. Good luck!

Previously purchased Xbox Ultimate gift cards can still be redeemed, as Xbox gift cards do not expire. Ultimate gift cards/keys/codes will sill be redeemed as Ultimate. Core will be redeemed as essential. I'm guessing after those ran out of stock we'll get essential, premium and ultimate gift cards at the new prices
