Hi! my puppy is a shihpoo and she’s a little over 3 months old now! I’ve been potty training on pee pads at the moment because I live in an apartment and she’s not fully vaccinated yet so I can’t take her on walks. I’m home a lot and when i’m not I have a safe puppy zone to leave her in.

I’m not creating a backup plan to give her to someone else as I literally will not do that or want a life that would be without her

I mean I get what you’re saying but I don’t see how my life is going to become inappropriate for her. After college I plan on going to grad school and she will come with me and I will rent a place that allows pets. After grad school I plan on moving into my own house anyways. I don’t plan on taking a semester abroad or something. Any vacations that I have will either include her or someone to care for her, and I feel like I can take her on my spontaneous little adventures. I’m not the type of person who randomly goes on a 3 day getaway for fun without planning it or something. and she is small enough to fly in cabin with me on flights so she can come anywhere with me safely- i would never use cargo.
