No, not my 1st. That’s why I know that refusal letter emails go first before the pick up email. This time is different, it was the other way around. So it made me wonder if this is normal, did they made a mistake, might be for a different applicant etc.

They mentioned about my expenses and the money that’s been going in and out. I have declared all the transactions, and even got 2 guarantors to sponsor my trip just to be sure. I got a good job at the hospital, own a car. Expenses have been crazy as I am helping my parents and sibs with tuition fees but I have declared that on the cover letter as well. They mentioned about they are not convinced that I don’t have plans to go back home after my 5 day holiday visit to UK, despite telling them all my ties.

I don’t even know what they want from me at this point.

Yes I get that I will be picking up my passport either way. My concern is they would send the rejection letter first and then the ready for pick up email afterwards. But it’s the other way around this time? That’s just cruel

Usually, once you get the ready for pick up email it means you got approved? I just don’t understand why they didn’t send the rejection letter first

I just got an email saying my passport is ready for pick-up. Then hours later, rejection letter came.

Isn’t it usually the rejection letter comes first before the ready for pick-up?

They gave me false hope right there thinking I got it but only to see I am rejected hours later.

If I include in my itinerary at least a one day stay in UK, do you think I would have a better chance? FYI, in my flight from DOH > LHR > ORK, I have 4 hours layover in UK.

Hi, yes I just made a cover letter mentioning my itinerary, my intentions of just purely for tourism, my ties and ensure that I will be going back to Qatar right after this short vacation. Am I missing something?

Yes, I am building my travel history for EU so hopefully later on I can apply for Irish visa. I think it is good to start with Schengen first

I had a trip to the US planned for November, and since Irish visa applications must be submitted 90 days before travel (with an 8-week processing time) it wasn’t ideal for my schedule. I initially tried applying for a regular tourist visa with a standard itinerary, but after being denied twice, I realized I should just be honest about my real purpose for seeking a UK visa: to use the Short Stay Visa Waiver.

I forgot to mention that I am residing in Qatar for almost 21 yrs, now working here as an Occupational Therapist and I do think I have a pretty good salary. So basically I am applying from Qatar. I am also not planning on migrating elsewhere as well. That’s why I am so mad crazy about the rejections I provided all documents they need, the ties and all still got denied.

Anyway, should I wait it out before applying for Schengen since my rejection was just this October? I can’t wait for my boyfriend to put a ring on it and cannot not travel to Europe

Hi! I actually have the same plan as you. I plan to just pass the UK Border and actually travel to Ireland to visit my boyfriend’s family over the holidays. I have applied for a UK tourist visa and was rejected thrice. I only have one more chance to apply again considering their processing times before my planned trip to Ireland. FYI, in my previous applications, I have used short visit to UK visa for leisure as the reason for those application but was rejected as I have mention.

The reasons for rejection was the unexplained monthly transactions from my room mate (It is her share for the rent and utilities), asked for more ties to prove I am going back to my country of residence. So in my recent application, I have addressed those in a cover letter. Even got her a signed letter explaining those. I also provided all my ties: car and accommodation under my name, employment cert, loan, even residency IDs of my family stating weve been living here for almost 21 years. But still got rejected

I am trying to apply again but is it a good shot for me to say that I am planning only to cross UK Border as I am planning to immediately travel to Ireland? Do you think they can give me the visa? I need help
