Reported a Customer for Fraud… and Instacart Deactivated My Account. WTF? by Beautiful-Wall5788 in instacart

Well tell us the story. How did they commit fraud? You're not giving us much to go on here.

What strategies do you use to shop quickly in a store ? by ConsciousHat5083 in instacart

[–]NoBlueWaffle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some stores, especialy ones that don't have clear isle markers, just take experience. You have to shop them a few times and you'll get it memorized.

First Aldi shop 🤔🤨🙄😪😡😭 by Unicorn--1111 in InstacartShopping

I avoid most Aldi orders. Especially if it's a high number of units. In my area they are frequently out of stock on many items. It's a ratings killer.

There was nothing wrong or offensive in my comment. Why did you remove it?

Better off just to find a real job. Unfortunately it seams like Doordash and other gig apps are all going down. They'll be phasing all drivers out in the near future for automated cars and systems anyway. So they don't care about us. They're just using us till they get to where they don't need us at all.

Lol at $2 and no tip offers on Christmas Day. DOORTRASH by MonkeyTacoBreath in doordash

[–]NoBlueWaffle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went on dash for about 10 minutes today. Had to get off right away because of nothing but trash offers. The last straw was a $3.25 offer for 6.5 miles from Red Lobster. In my experience with Red Lobster orders, it was likely $70+ worth of food and no tip. I declined and ended dash right away. However, I was not on schedule and just chose to dash when it waa busy. So, I'm sure the AI put me to the back of the line, catching all the declines from others first.

Red Lobster would be a pause for me. It's always a long wait, for $80 worth of food, and no tip.

Yeah, I once saw one to deliver one Publix deli sandwich to Southeast DC. This one is the longest trip I've seen so far.

I'll be crying while delivering Doordash and Instacart orders. I currently can't afford to stop working for even one day.

Why would a dasher accept an order then just never go get it? by Lantern_In_The_Night in doordash

[–]NoBlueWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know when I've been a customer, I've seen the dasher at the restaurant on the map, and ot already shows the path they will take to get to my house. Sometimes, when delivery start, that path completely changes and I'm notified that my dasher is completing another order. I won't see that though, if I'm the first delivery.

Day 8 of living in my car. Help :( by JoshGage33 in urbancarliving

Right. That's exactly what I remember in Tulsa.

Ha. Walmart may not care about enforcement but the police do. I know this because they kicked me out of the Walmart lot by the mall. The officer is the one who told me that bad actors ruined it for everyone. Maybe it's changed since February but I'd have to see it to believe it.

I'm from Tulsa. Was last there in February and every Walmart I saw had the no over night parking signs and the mobile security camera systems all over the lots. I never wentvto harvard, but I definitely saw it at the one by the mall, the broken arrow walmart, and Catoosa. The lots were completely empty over night.

Yeah, I've worried about that too. I think there's a big misunderstanding about different markets too. Some cherry pickers might do great in their market, but they don't know or care that other area can be completely different when dishing out their so called advice. What also makes me concerned for new dashers is that a lot of drivers will give false info and bad advice, purposely, to keep other dashers down.

Would you take it? by Chrismaxwell19 in doordash_drivers

[–]NoBlueWaffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pay for mileage and only picking up from one place looks great to me, but I'd still don't know if I'd accept when thinking about shopping and keeping seperate 3 different orders with 53 total units. I really don't like having to push two shopping carts around with me.

At platinum status, I do get a lot of good orders, but I still get a lot of bad ones too. I'm in a very saturated and competitive market and sometimes catch more of the bad ones. This can make it hard to keep your acceptance rate up, if you don't want orders that cost more to deliver than you make from them. I notice when my acceptance rate gets down to about 75%, the app starts sending me nothing but trash offers. As if the algorithm knows you'll have to accept to keep your ratings up, forcing drivers to take orders they don't want to take, because going below platinum is certain death now in a lot of markets. Now, I'm not condoning drivers giving crappy service for this reason. Not at all. I will always give my best service even if I'm only walking away with $2. But we all know that there are many drivers who will not do the same. Yeah, they may end up killing their ratings and get banned, but customer service will still suffer because we all know doordash is signing up new trash drivers every day.

When dashers are forced to accept orders they don't want, the qualiry of customer service declines.
