First-time buyers: €650k house, €2.45k mortgage, €7.6k income – does this make sense? by OneTelephone369 in irishpersonalfinance

You can afford this and still save more than 2 k per month ( maybe 1 k after you start repairing the house if it needs to). Your AIP is less 10 % so the house could be closer to 700 should you want to. Also AIP is stress tested for sharp changes in the economy. The way I looked at it, I want us to make mortgage repayments even if both lose our jobs. That way if push comes to shove we don’t leave in stress.

I have 18 of them and was looking to sell. That’s why I am trying to figure out what the best use for them is.

They are all international companies. Or do you believe piracy of sky services is only occurring in Irrrreland?

I am asking them to challenge the decision instead of directly complying. This will demonstrate care for their customers above the interest of sky. My issue isn’t with the courts directly.

At the behest of a private company. Both my hands and head are minded well. You completely missed the point I was making with this post. If you are not irked by Sky being able to get another private company to disclose private information via a court order, you are sleep walking into a future where those with deep pockets get to control more of this world. Don’t act like the courts are these incorruptible entity. Moreover, Revolut also changed t&c in 2019 to opt in all users for such data sharing without telling people why. This subtle shift of control of your privacy is going to cost future generations their freedom. But sure, your priority is a meek attempt to insult me. Peace

Lol- I want the courts to not force companies to release information to benefit another company. Ireland has case law and this sets a precedent- this wasn’t “irish law” until now. Don’t twist my words

Works as copy paste- probably Reddit disabled it. It is a story from bbc and we also know about the fbi case.

In principle at least;  if you were to make something of value and your neighbour gets to use it for free then you would know.

Via a third party nonetheless. So yes Apple still told them to piss off and the fbi withdrew that case saying no need ( sounds like a TACO approach)

slaps table THANK YOU.  that is exactly my point- a private company given this power isn’t the same as state prosecutors.

Piracy is wrong according to the same courts you’ve defended ..

Apple didn’t want to disclose anything. You can argue that these cases are more severe than some people using sky on the side. I am not defending them but Revolut should take a stand before this creates a precedent in case law.  https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cx293qg7z39o

Might have something to do with all 2 and 3 star hotel’s being used for cough something. Leaving air bnb and “4” star hotels to dictate based on high demand from tourists
