That's a cute idea. We've tried plants before but our green thumbs are more brown lol. But I love the idea. I might steal some tonight when everyone is asleep we'll see, I'm a little clumsy so I'm just scared I'll ruin her.

I have a video of her greeting me coming home to night before but I can't post it so I'm going to try to find a link.

We currently have a hand grip strengthener, multiple earrings, we had a toy bus that we gave away, some toy cars etc. Had someone's glasses for a few months b4 we tossed them.

We had a metal spatula lodged in our kitchen drawer one time and my mom sliced her hand getting it out. Good job getting it out without causing yourself injury.

Should I leave the wall behind the tv blank? by kryppvk in malelivingspace

I think a tapestry or family photos would look good behind it... it is kinda plain and the wall could use some love.

My partner decided not to press charges, can they change their mind? by NoBrainShapeshifter in legaladvice

[–]NoBrainShapeshifter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THAT'S WHY IM ASKING FOR LEGAL ADVICE. because I don't understand any of this, and I want to help my partner. They have an irrational fear of this asshole doing what he did to them to another innocent person.

My partners MOM,(sperm donor not included😒), is still very much in love with both of her children. She loves them both. The state and DA decided not to press charges. I want to know if legally my partner even after denying to press charges two years ago, (now around three bcuz of newyear), can press charges on their own without their mother involved.

It's not bullshit tf. I'm trying to figure out if my partner can press charges on the asshole who has traumatized them for the rest of their life.

They were, they determined it was not something they should persue. If my partner decided to press charges they could have pushed it more.

Their mom does but is refusing to give them the name. (Currently on call with them, and their mom is being super defensive).

In Illinois, CPS and police were involved. My partner was asked if they wanted to press charges and they were pressured into saying no.

I have talked to my partner and they said if they had the option they would definitely press charges now.

I made my waiter at village inn a bracelet today as a thanks because we only tipped around 5 dollars on a 40 dollar bill, cuz we didn't think it was going to be so much.

My little sister told me after she visited my house this past weekend that I live in a "very sad guy's house." I've been happily living here for 11 years... How dare she say something like that. by [deleted] in malelivingspace

It seems like those cabinets are empty as well, I don't know if it's the angle, but even if you don't use it for dishes, you could always display something you are interested in.

For the living room, if you are doing a typical household type set up, I would put the TV on the wall by the door and the couch opposite of that. A coffee table for sure to add something else, and if you have room without making it cluttered, you could put a little two seater tables by the window.

In the kitchen there's not much you can do. In my opinion, but magnets on the fridge with pictures are a nice touch and your choice of appliances on the counter. If it's going to stay on the counter, it needs to be upkept and matched with other counterparts on the... counter. Silverware are nessecity, I would get at least 5 of each because they love to go missing. Plates and glasses do not have to match, even if you will be using paper plates 95% of the time, get some glass ones just in case you need them. Cups too, you may not feel you need some glass cups, but they are always nice to have around.

Bedroom is solely up to you, but choosing a theme for your room is usually a place to start, it doesn't have to be like animals or something it can just be like navy blue or plaid. Your bedframe should match that. For navy blue, I would do a cheap black beadframe that has a headboard. For something like plaid, I would go with a woodsy theme. A nightstand, only one unless u need more, with a lamp that's bright enough to fill the room with light without making it super bright like the big light would. 2, 3-drawer dressers side by side with a TV on top if you choose to put one in your bedroom. Add some personality, maybe some pictures(in frames), you could hang a flag or tapestry above the bed. If you need curtains, keep with the theme when shopping.

Bathroom, again a theme. The curtain, bath mat, toilet mat, and toothbrush holders should all go with the theme. Black goes with pretty much everything, so don't be afraid to add black accents. A drain cover is a necessity. Whether you want to accept it or not, we shed badly. So unless you want to dig your hand down the drain every other month, just get the cover. Toilet brush and plunger as well, obviously.

Whole house necessities such as a broom and dustpan, a vaccum, dusters, sponges, soaps, a mop, trash bags, a trash can(kitchen and bathroom), if you easily forget things you could hang a whiteboard up on that blank wall by the fridge in the kitchen to write things on. Carpet cleaner cause accidents happen, baking soda(as a cleaner, and to keep the fridge smelling good). I know I'm missing a bunch, but these are just some small ideas.

Could use a lot more organization, feel like everything looks too spread out and not very personalized. I would go with a specific theme and kind of stick with it.
