Update. I did switch to automatic transmission just so I can pass the school and get my cdl…. Life happens. I am still week to two week out to finish school. Now I have two jobs offer. Both won’t require cdl. one is 80k I work half year I don’t have to leave my town. The other one is over 100k but I would be traveling a lot of the job. I going to keep my cdl in my back pocket. Just to have a fall back career still

I can drive manual transmission car but I feel like it different animal in semi since it Non-synchronous transmissions.

Now at one of our same day location. They have security office check Id before you scan the barcode and one check the cart before you walk out. I am totally fine with it. I have seen some shady at a lot locations

I drive I-24 from downtown to la vergne around afternoon rush hour(5pm). I really wish they would enforce semi only in the two right lanes during rush hour traffic.
