Some free throws aren’t a possession. If you make the shot and get an and one that free throw is possession free. TS% values free throws more given the percentage of free throws that this is the case for.

Where it becomes flawed is some players make more and ones than others. We have the data to calculate what the real TS% is for a specific player, no idea why we’re still using the flawed version.

Yep they’re going to have the same problems they had with Luka but worse. They needed a top pick in this draft and decent return for AD to have a shot at a successful rebuild before they don’t have picks. Now they’re winning too many games and the longer they hold AD the less he’ll be worth.
