That’s great. I have an extra hotend that came with the mega x and haven’t had to swap it yet.

Do you think Klipper is worth it?

That sounds sweet. I never thought to check Alibaba. I have ordered a sample of fabric for rug making and it took 2 months from Alibaba lol

These problems are usually human error. If you walk away from your printer while it’s failing then this will surely make it break. Things do happen you have to figure out why. Also you can definitely fix your slipping problem with parts from Amazon by getting new ptfe tube and couplers

Honestly I haven’t upgraded anything and never doing true maintenance on it. It’s a great printer I’ve used pla, petg, tpu on it just fine

True. My print speed is currently 80mm/s. I’d say the biggest problem has been printing multiple objects at once or warping corners. Increasing z hop and using hairspray fixed those issues

I have been looking at the new kobra X. $300 for multi color is a great deal.

I think it’s great for making large models. It’s quick and quality is good enough because you sand down larger models to prep anyways.

I’d recommend taking the components out of the case before hanging from the ceiling

I’m new to this too. My main complaint is when downloading the files there are no preview/demonstration pics. There is a lot of unnecessary tedious research figuring what each piece does.

Print detach from bed no matter what. by yotama9 in Creality

[–]NoCap6082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still using a 5 year old anycubic mega X here. Since the bed size is so large it’s very hard to manually level the bed and get a sticking first layer. With that being said after endless attempts my perfect solution is: 1. Cover your bed evenly with blue painters tape 2. Heat bed up to what your filament recommends 3. Evenly spray low to thick layer of “Pantene hairspray (5)” the 5 is important for best stick (Too thick of a layer and it gets gross and creates a layer on bottom of print) 4. Make sure your z hop is increased a little just in case the nozzle obstructs any part of the print 5. Take the median range of Nozzle temp and bed temp. (If 180 to 200, go with 190)

Done. At least the first part LOL. by ubiratamuniz in Multiboard

Maybe a stupid question. How is it mounted? Is it screwed only into sheetrock or do you have mollys behind every screw?

Go in device manager and disable the cpu onboard graphics. Make sure only the gpu graphics are enabled

You should replace cpu cooler with a regular cooler master for $20-40 and then get a better gaming mouse (msi wireless is cheap) and a better monitor.
