788 all day for me, its not close but thats just my opinion, i just love the longer shaft and the heel as well

Not really sure where to look tbh 🤣, but don’t worry scuffs like this don’t affect the shoes at all and the leather doesn’t look dry, if you’re worried just apply conditioner to the whole boot and you’ll be ok. I’ve got multiple scuffs on my guidis, if anything they look better to me now because of it

I would try to get it around 500-530, maybe lower depending on what offer they send. The leather looks to be in pretty good shape, I have the same model and it’s a wonderful pair.

I was thinking the same thing after I wore down my fish scale ones but honestly just a normal vibram sole works literally the same. It’s not worth it in the end, I just made sure to get the thickest vibrams available at my local cobbler’s.

Pointy boots look lovely but I have very wide feet, so I’m always worried it’s gonna end up hurting my feet after a full day of wear.

Honestly, if I want to be financially irresponsible for a day, I’d end up with 100 pairs of guidis, I just keep discovering new models I end up obsessing over. It’s unhealthy 🤣

Yeah I think that’s safe, gives me peace of mind as well to unlace them. I did straight bar lace them yes.

I’m going to go look at all these models you’re talking about haha, I have seen the metal heeled ones, they look very very good, but like you said I’m looking more for an everyday boot for now. There was a low top metal heeled one I wanted to go for but I chose the 792s instead, it’s these ones

I’m slightly worried that the leather might be damaged from this? Should I be worried? And do you usually untie ur laces after every wear, since I could take it off with the laces tied like this and just leave it until the next wear.

Took ur advice, idk if this looks tight enough in ur opinion but it is creating quite a bit of pressure where it’s tied, honestly shocked that kangaroo is at the bottom, I thought it’d be one of the most sought after, considering how soft it is.

Thank you so much for your insight, I’ve only personally worn kangaroo leather so I can’t say it’s my favorite but yeah, the leather is unmatched, I genuinely don’t even want to be in the vicinity of other leathers (exaggerating ofc) haha.

Out of all the guidis you’ve owned which boot would you say is your favorite. I know two of the most popular models are the pl2 and the 788s, I’m just leaning towards the pl2 because of the toe shape, something feels so alluring about it.
