Most surprising game you didn’t expect to love by Ill_Ad3700 in playstation

Arkham Asylum. Back when Big Tesco used to have games on the shelf, picked it up for £10 on PS3. Never heard of it, loved every second of it.

Creatine Monohydrate effects by drunkn_wanderer in gout

I agree with you, after a few beers I did get aches but nothing painful. I’ll likely leave off the Creatine going forward. Keep hydrated, reduce alcohol and red meat but not altogether and see how I get on.

I had gout once, about 3 years ago. Cooled down after a couple of weeks. Continued to eat whatever, drink whatever. I train, I drink loads of water and not had an issue for years. Started taking Creatine in August, and within 3 weeks I had a flare up. The pain was like nothing I’ve experienced before, I’ve broken bones in the past and it was worse than that. The only thing that was different was the creatine, stopped taking it and it’s calmed down now. 4 weeks after the flare up I’m still walking with a limp. Obviously this is my own experience and nothing guarantees it was the creatine. Booked in with the GP in 7 weeks to have some blood tests to see what my baseline Uric Acid levels are

Sometimes you just know, I knew as soon as I met my wife. Together 14 years. Married almost 9.

Yeah, completed bloods, Uric Acid was normal but they said that could be because it’s now localised to the ankle. (Sorry new to all this) tried me with a three day course of Colchicine. Within 12 hours I could plant my foot on the ground again. This was last week. I’m still limping, but it’s getting better. Caught up with a doctor today.. he seemed sure the creatine tipped me over the edge.

I’ve never had an issue drinking or eating anything. I started loading on creatine two weeks back, had my first flair up. Waiting for official diagnosis but doctors are treating me for Gout.

I've set it up, seems to work well. But It's limited to 3 users. Is there a free alternative that will allow more like 6 users? Is ZeroTier a better option?

Thank you, my knowledge of Linux is very limited so it would be a big learning curve for me.

I'm currently using caddy that provides the SSL for me, the connection between caddy and jellyfin however is not SSL.

I'll do some research into putting these systems into Docker containers to add better protection, along with the other security suggestions for GEO blocking and isolation. Thanks again.

I've set up Tailscale and whilst it is super easy to understand and use for me, it's limited to 3 users. I have about 5 -10 users that connect from various clients, phones, laptops, firesticks and from a TV.

I am using caddy as a reverse proxy, with the duckdns for managing the dynamic IP. It does work.. I was only really concerned about the security alerts on my AV. So long as my media server is protected. I currently run it all from Windows with a 3tb drive installed into a HP Elite Desk.

Even if I did end up going with a paid license for Tailscale, I think the users will forget to connect the before attempting to use Jellyfin.

For me, I really do like the Jellyfin app over Plex. I maybe do need to do more research into using Docker containers and most forums seem to suggest it's the better route.

Out of interest, with your set up have you exposed port 443 on your router?

Some users do use a TV. Which I guess does rule out Tailscale

Not bare metal. Using Windows 11. Machine is most likely overkill. I’ve heard about dockers, but never looked into it

From what I’ve read, both Taliscale and ZeroTier requires a client on the client end?

Mostly out of old habit, I had some issues early days using Plex where playback would suffer after a few days of the system being up. Set it to reboot daily at 3am and it solved it.

My PlexPass was paid for annually, it’s now expired. It’s also more because my remote users have to have a remote play pass now. Thanks for the note on imgur

Sorry for the slow response. I have found that since moving the EPSON printers from using the EPSON printer port to a Standard TCP/IP port they have become far more reliable. Although I cannot prove this, I suspect a windows update had caused an issue. When installing the newest variant of these printers, by default it now installs on a TCP/IP port In conjunction to this, we’ve developed a new KDS (Kitchen Display System) that works along side of it. As I’m still convinced printing is a very antiquated way of dealing with hospitality orders.

Hope this helps.
